• Once all passengers are on board, embark on a two-hour journey south of Cusco to the village of Cusipata, where a delightful breakfast awaits at a local restaurant.
• Following breakfast, continue the journey, beginning at Checacupe’s colonial bridge and visiting the South American camelid hatchery along the route. Upon arrival at this charming town, there will be free time to use the restrooms, purchase refreshing drinks, and snacks. The trip then proceeds for an additional hour to the starting point of the hike, the community of Palcoyo (4,200 meters above sea level).

Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain - • The adventure commences with a stunning view of the Stone Forest and vibrant mountains, signaling proximity to the Cordillera de Colores. After a briefing from the guide, the walk begins. The ascent is enjoyable, taking approximately 30 minutes. Along the way, various South American camelids can be seen, and upon reaching the summit, the majestic Apu Ausangate (approximately 6,380 meters) can be admired.
This location is both unique and enchanting, as nature has whimsically crafted this landscape. Here, an explanation of the site is provided, followed by an offering ceremony to Pachamama, and ample free time for photography, exploration, and enjoyment of the Cordilleras de Colores and the Stone Forest.
• After a peaceful moment in harmony with nature and the Apus (spirits of the Mountains), the return journey to the town of Cusipata begins, where lunch will be served.
Return to Cusco, concluding the tour around 5/6pm.
