An amazing experience, well informed guides - This place is just amazing! It was so cool being able to see the animals of Peru but not in a zoo. This lovely place helps rehabilitate hurt or trafficked animals and releases them back into the wild when possible. Do yourself a favor, support this amazing Sanctuary and you enjoy yourself so much!

Fantastic experience with a great tour guide - Wish I could rate higher than 5 stars! This tour was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in animals native to south America. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a VIP tour through the whole sanctuary. We were able to spend time at each animal enclosure and interact with quite a few of them including, llamas, alpacas, parrots, macaws. If you came to Peru or Cusco hoping to have an alpaca for llama experience, this is the tour for you.

Awes especially for animal and/or nature lovers! - Great experience with my 12 year old son. We helped feed some of the animals and learned about each of their stories that led to being rescued by the sanctuary. Every animal had a name and is provided specialized care based on their own personalities and needs. We would love to go back and visit again if we ever return to Peru.

Highly recommend the guided tour of CochahuasI animal shelter! - What an amazing experience! We throughly enjoyed the private, guided tour and getting to see and interact with all the animals at Cochahuasi. We learned a lot about the animals and the important work the shelter does. Getting to feed and interact with the monkeys was awesome and we loved the whole experience and all the animals we got to meet. The experience exceeded our expectations and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The Best place for visita local animal from peru and ethical interacción - BOOK THIS TOUR! If you love animals, beautiful scenery, and want a truly magical experience, I promise you will not find a better addition to your trip than this. We had the opportunity to interact with so many beautiful animals (llamas, alpacas, condors, monkeys, parrots, etc.), all of which are taken such good care of by the team. Albert was lovely to spend the day with, as he is so knowledgeable about all of the animals. The creatures chose to stay there, as they have the ability to roam freely and receive the highest level of care they could imagine. I’m so thankful for the highlight of our stay in Cusco! Also, if you visit the gift shop, your purchase contributes to the care of rescued animals.

Amazing experience - We absolutely loved this experience. We were originally scheduled to go to Rainbow Mountain but I was unable to due to altitude sickness. I did not want the day to go to waste so we opted to do this experience. We had a private taxi to the wildlife sanctuary where we had a personal guided tour throughout the enclosures. There was a lot more animals than I was expecting and seeing the sanctuary’s rehabilitative efforts in person was quite inspiring and felt really good. We got to interact with multiple animals and at the end walked through their gift shop. It was much less expensive than anywhere in the city and part of the proceeds go to the conservation efforts. We then were given a private taxi ride back to our accommodation. 10/10 would absolutely recommend this experience.

Incredible VIP tour in the shelter - We did the tour with the guide Jhonncito and it was amazing! He explained about all the different animals and let us feed and pet them. It's a shelter for Peruvian animals so the money goes for helping them and releasing them to the wild. Highly recommend!!

Fun Time - Fun time, but some hiccups. It was amazing seeing various exotic animals like condors, vicuñas, and spider monkeys. The only issue was the transportation. The driver was confused on where the meeting place was and arrived like 30 min late.
