We’ll pick you up from your Cusco hotel at 4:30 a.m. and travel for 2 hours in our private vehicle to Mollepata, where a light and energizing breakfast awaits.
Next, we’ll drive 40 more minutes to Challacancha, from where we’ll embark on a 2.5-hour hike to Humantaypampa, our first campsite.
After lunch, we’ll take a 3-hour hike to Humantay Lagoon, capturing beautiful photos of the green lagoon with Humantay Mountain in the background.
At 5:30 p.m., we’ll enjoy hot drinks, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m., and spend the night in our tents.

Salkantay Trail - Today will be challenging as we reach the highest and coldest point and travel by local bus.
Breakfast is at 5:30 a.m., and we start our uphill hike at 6:00 a.m. to the highest point (4630m / 15,187ft). Here, we’ll enjoy panoramic views of snow-capped mountains and lush valleys. We’ll then descend to Huayracmachay for lunch.
After lunch, we’ll continue descending through the humid forest to Challhuay, where we’ll take a local bus for 1 hour to Playa Sahuayaco, our second campsite.
At 5:30 p.m., we’ll have tea, followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m. in the high Amazon jungle.

Playa Sahuayaco – Salkantay Trek Inka Trail Llactapata – Hydroelectric – Aguas Calientes.
Salkantay Trail - Today will be unforgettable as we explore the best part of the Salkantay Trek Inca Trail Llactapata, a pristine and less-visited area.
After breakfast at 6:00 a.m., we’ll hike along a recently discovered Inca trail to the Llactapata archaeological site. As we ascend, we’ll enjoy breathtaking views of deep valleys and, from Llactapata, a distant view of Machu Picchu nestled between the Andes peaks.
After exploring, we’ll descend to the hydroelectric train station. Before boarding the train at 2:17 or 2:50 p.m., we’ll have lunch and bid farewell to our cook and muleteers.
Dinner at 6:30 p.m. in a restaurant in Aguas Calientes Town, followed by an overnight stay in a hotel.

Aguas Calientes Town– Machu Picchu – Cusco.
Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - Today, we visit our final destination, Machu Picchu. We have two options to reach this sacred site.
First, take the bus (optional). We need to line up at 4:30 a.m. to catch one of the first 5 buses departing at 5:30 a.m. Alternatively, we can hike up for 1.5 hours.
In both cases, we must arrive at the main entrance between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. to see Machu Picchu without tourists and witness the sunrise.
Inside Machu Picchu, we’ll have a 2-hour tour, followed by free time to explore further or hike up to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain.
In the afternoon, we’ll descend to Aguas Calientes to catch the return train (7:00 p.m.) to Ollantaytambo, and from there, take our private vehicle back to Cusco – hotel.
