Bad coordination - Poorly coordinated service. The pick-up took place an hour after sheduled time. Nobody warned that would be any delay. On the contrary, communication with the operator was interrupted. The journey took 6-7 hours along a beautiful serpentine road with some 3 stops along the way. After that, you need to walk upwards of 10km in high humidity and heat. It is extremely important not to do this with a big and heavy backpack as otherwise it will be difficult. If you are not a completely sedentary vegetable - you will succeed. I did it with a 20kg backpack and I'm 130kg. On the way back I had planned to take the train. I informed about that the tour operator through whatsapp. Despite this, on the next day I got a message that a bus was waiting for me at a cafe near Santa Teresa to go to Cuzco. I replied that I would not go back with them. For a moment they stoped bothering me. But the very next day the same scenario repeated.
