Incredible experience and first ones to arrive. - Me and my wife did a private tour with VisitSouthAmerica and our experience was incredible. Our guide, Fredy and our driver, Yurghen picked us up at 2:30am from Cusco and we were the literally the first one to arrive at the parking lot of Rainbow Mtn. Fredy was absolutely knowledgeable and made sure we reached the top of Rainbow Mountain before everyone else! 😀 Yes you read it right, we were the first ones to arrive on top! Other than being an amazing guide, Fredy was an incredible photographer! We spent approx an hour and a half on the top, which is a lot as compared to other operators. We also did the Red Valley Tour, which was really incredible too! And the food! Food was absolutely amazing and delicious 😋 We would never forget the lunch we had! We got to try lots of Peruvian local dishes! We would 100% recommend this tour with VisitSouthAmerica.

One of my best travel experiences ever! - This was absolutely one of the best experiences that I have that pleasure of partaking in while travelling! And definitely one of the most unique. My wife and I were in Peru in August which is the dry season so it almost never rains or snows. Visit Southamerica took us to rainbow mountain and the guide was amazing, he was super knowledgeable and spoke english very very well! As we arrived, to our surprise the entire landscape was covered in snow. So we did not get to hike rainbow mountain (even though we were still given that option from our guide) but we got to experience a once in a lifetime magical adventure in the snowy Andes that most people never get to see (as visiting Peru during the wet season is very uncommon). Afterwards we were taken to an amazing lunch and some additional archeological sites on the way back that weren't even a part of the original tour :) Overall this was a 10/10 experience regardless of what the weather is like. We were also the first ones on the site! we showed up at 530 am BEFORE ANYONE ELSE! So if you go with this tour, assuming there's no snow, you'll be the first ones up at Rainbow Mountain without any other tourists.

Skipped the crowds! - I'm glad we could join this group because it arrives at rainbow mountain before all the other groups. Meaning we had the place for ourselves and even some good light for pictures. AWESOME!!! As we headed to the red valley after visiting Vinikunka, we saw all the groups arriving and hundreds of people hiking up. Organization was without any problems and our guide Jacob was awesome and chill! Good food afterwards. We plan to go on more trips with visitsouthamerica.co on our next adventures :D

Sunrise rainbow mountain tour - excellent!! - HIGHLY recommend this tour. It was well worth doing the sunrise morning tour. As we were leaving the mountain, there were so many tourists arriving. We had the trail and mountain all to ourselves to take our time enjoying the views and capturing pictures. Ricardo was an excellent guide and provided us with information about the mountain, Cusco, and Peru in general. He was encouraging and supportive on this challenging hike - making sure we had enough breaks and were good to go! Also recommend checking out the red valley. Even though we were tired it was well worth the extra 30 minute hike! Yurghen was a great driver. There is a very winding steep road to get there (would also recommend to pack some Dramamine for this!) we always felt safe and comfortable navigating through these difficult roads. We had a great breakfast and an awesome lunch spread. Truly amazing and so glad we did this while in Cusco!!!

Amazing experience! Totally worth it - This tour was AMAZING! Chris was our guide and I could not have asked for a better one. He was professional, informative, and patient. As it was our first big hike in Cusco my friend and I felt nervous and he totally worked with us throughout the whole experience. We got picked up at the time agreed, got into a van with a heater, were given blankets as it was below 0 Celsius and a breakfast. We were one of the first groups on the Rainbow Mountain as advertised! Chris knew the places were to take the best pics and even taught us how to pose. Seriously, if I could I would hire him for every tour here in Cusco, I would! Whenever we had a question, he would answer and even explained further so that we could learn more about the culture and the people. We also went to the Red Valley and our time there was so peaceful. Thank you Chris for making our tour so special! We enjoyed every minute of it! I highly recommend doing the Rainbow Mountain with this tour specifically.

Unforgettable experience and memories for life. - I cannot rave enough about Visit South America and their attention to detail and hospitality they provided, not just on the tour but how available they were to my group and i through our whole trip. Noah and Hilton helped make arrangements, translate and made sure us four women were always safe and fed. :) Noah took our group of four to both Machu Picchu and rainbow mountain, so this is a review of both experiences. On our first trip was to Machu Picchu, and he not only handled the logistics and made sure we had what we needed and dressed appropriately for the weather. He had very handy tips, such as water consumption because there were no bathrooms inside. He knew all the best spots to take photos and gave direction before taking photos. Noah was extremely knowledgeable about the history, architecture and came with a book that had pictures that illustrated the culture of the beautiful ruins. It was really fun hanging out with and learning from him. He answered all my questions as my imagination ran wild with scenarios of how the land was created and utilized. The next day, we went up to rainbow mountain with a call-time of 4:00am. Initially I didn’t know if we would have the energy. But we were picked up and given blankets to rest on the way up. Which we happily did. Snacks and drinks were provided - an assortment of delicious local fruits, sandwiches, and even food that met our individual dietary needs for the group. He brought a oxygen tank up the mountain and encouraged us pace ourselves on the hike up the mountain to make sure we didn’t get altitude sickness. Once we made it to the top, there were less than 5 people there, and we could see a lot of people just starting their journey at the bottom of the mountain. Which made for amazing photos with no photobombers. Again, he knew exactly where to take photos and took a bunch with his camera, which he immediately uploaded to my phone on the ride back down. On the way back to Cusco, the drive was gorgeous and we saw so many alpacas. Our sweet driver even stopped to take pictures of them. Half way to the hotel, we stopped at a house where a local chef made us a local home cooked meal and we shared my favorite meal of the trip together, filled with laughter and joy. Visit South America Gave me a million reasons to come back and do it again. They made it easy and comfortable, and I know I’ll be coming back and calling to book with them again. I left with memories that I’ll never forget - exploring the most beautiful mountains and land I’ve ever seen with good company.

Awesome tour and our guide John mikey was the best! - We had woke up super early for our tour and our guide was on time at our hostel waiting for us to pick us up. We got into the van and we’re handed pillows and blankets for the long drive ahead. Me and my friend were really happy we got to the mountain about a hour before everyone else because we had nobody in our photos and nobody on the path. It was a really good tour. We were given breakfast and water before the hike. Our guide mikey was very friendly and showed us everything about the mountain and the red valley. He told us the history too. We were also lucky with the early start because on our way back down the fog started to roll in over the mountain and we had the perfect time frame. After the hike we had a super good lunch with everyone and it was super fun. The food was incredible. The guide spoke Spanish and English which really helped us because we weren’t the greatest at Spanish! Made us feel super comfortable! We were then dropped back off at our hostels doorstep and said goodbye! I would highly recommend this company and if you can, request John mikey! He’s the best guide!

One of the MOST memorable tours ever! - I can not give VSA enough praise for the way they organize and facilitate their tours! I can not wait to go back to Peru and explore more with their team! As a female traveller I always look for trustable, safe and reliable tour operators, and let me tell you that VSA is one of the best especially for South America. The evening before our scheduled pick-up Jeffery got in contact with me to confirm our hotel, pick-up time and went over everything to expect and bring. My friend whom I was travelling with was not feeling well already from the altitude so she was very nervous and Jeffery didn’t not fall short with the re-assurance that she will be okay. Our day started very early to ensure that we were one of the first visitors on the mountain and to catch the sunrise against the colours. When we met Noah, our guide, he went into further detail of what was in store ahead of us. We let him know about my friends worries and he gave us multiple options one being taking a horse midway and hiking the rest of the way. Once we got to the base of the hike they served us breakfast in the car while Noah explained the terrain that we would be going on. The sun was still not up at this point. While finishing up our breakfasts Noah went ahead and arranged the horses for us. Was it cold? Yes! But it was so worth it! On the way back Noah had to take my friend ahead as she was not feeling well at all. I asked him if I could stay to take more photos and he said that he will come back for me. He told me that while he took my friend back down that there might be some alpacas that I could take a photo with! He knew how obsessed I was with the alpacas 😅. On the way down we went by foot. Noah took my photos for me and told me many stories and fact about the trails that we were walking on. He had noticed that I kept starring at the alpacas down the mountainside and asked if I’d like to go closer! So we did! It was incredible! Their tours are so well planned and tailored to each person. Their guides are so knowledgeable, experienced, reliable, and you can tell they have a passion for the culture and land that they showcase on their tours. Thank you so much Visit South America for making my Peru trip so memorable! All the praises to your company for being such an incredible tour operator! Hope to book with you guys again soon!
