Wonderful day, beautiful country! - Even though the weather was foggy and the colors not so bright, my son and I had a wonderful day riding up to the Andes with Sarah, our guide, and our cooks and driver. The food was amazing and the access and attention we got far superior to the others we saw on different tours that day (in fact, we met up with others we had trekked with to Machu Pichu and they were jealous/had wished they had booked our tour instead). A long day but worth it to see more of the wonderful culture and scenery of Peru!

Rainbow Mountain Tour - We had a very good day traveling to rainbow mountain with Jose Abad. Everything went smoothly from pick up to drop off. They made us breakfast and lunch, both delicious. Jose was very helpful with all our questions and needs. Highly recommend this tour group.

Beautiful Country - Amazing day, we were treated so well on our tour. The food that was prepared for us was amazing to eat. Our guide Sutta, was great to talk with and took the time to explain many things about the area and Peru. Really loved talking with him and sharing our conversation. Absolutely will go again.

Challenging trek, and worth all the strain at the end .. - Katiya was our guide from Trexperience, and she was really good. Quite passionate about the Peruvian culture and customs and knowledgeable about Peru as a whole. She helped my wife a lot while ascending and descending the last leg of the hike which is quite steep and strenuous. She is a star and she connected us at a personal level like a family forever and embraced us in to the Andean family.

Food, photos and new friends with Trexperience at Rainbow Mountain - I don’t think there is a better way to explore the Rainbow Mountain area than with the lights-out team at TreXperience. Our guide, Willian, went above and beyond - sharing history and geological details, but also, the man is an amazing photographer who knows all the best locations and angles and HE WILL GET THE SHOT!!! The food by Alejandro was authentic, delicious and plentiful and the crew at TreXperience will take care of you from start to finish. Book them!!

Best way to visit rainbow mountain without the stress of time and the big tour group - We had a beautiful day with my fiancee going to see the rainbow mountain in private with our guide, Katia. The pickup was early to arrive before all the crowded bus and once at the beginning of the red valley we enjoyed a breakfast made on the spot by a chief. We then took once again the car for 30minutes surrounded by mountains and cute fluffy alpacas. Once at the bottom of the mountain we got some snack for the hike up top the rainbow mountain. With Katia, we could go out our pace and weren't restrained by time like the other tourist needing to rush the almost 4h hike to take a quick picture on top and run back down. Once back from the top, the chief prepared us an amazing full course lunch that we enjoyed in the sun protected by the wind in a tent. Katia gave us plenty information about her own community, the mountains, valleys and farmers around the area and even with our multiple previous tour in Peru, she still managed to make us learn new things. Also, she was fully prepared to help us in case we got altitude sickness (which I got) and in case it was impossible to see the rainbow mountain (it unusually froze the night before), she had a few other spot we could visit in the area including lakes hidden in the mountains. Would recommend the trip and would recommend asking for Katia as a tour guide.

Day trek to Rainbow Mountain and the Red Valley with Mijail and his team - My Peru 9-day trip with TreXperience closed on a high note with a full day excursion to Rainbow Mountain and the Red Valley. My guide Mijail and his wonderful team - cook Amilcar, his assistant Walberto, driver Rosmil - were instrumental in making the hike as pleasurable and rewarding as it was. Rainbow Mountain and the Red Valley on their own may offer otherworldly views that are well worth the effort to reach them, but it’s even better to get there knowing you’re in the best possible hands, both regarding safety and comfort. Mijail expertly explained historical, geological and anthropological facts about this particular territory and was always open to questions and insights on the spot. Breakfast and lunch (hearty and accurately prepared) were served in a field in the valley with a view of the glaciers and alpaca pastures. You can’t ask for a better experience, and I highly recommend Mijail and his collaborators for their humanity, courtesy and professionalism.

Book this tour! - Spent the day with: Guide : Mijail Cook Amílcar Sub- cook Walberto Driver Rosmil Was honestly such an amazing experience that I couldn't have even imagined! Everyone was kind, professional, and the food was amazing! Mijail was an awesome guide! He did not make me feel rushed and he gave just the right amount of information. I felt like he anticipated my needs and overall he was great to talk to. He takes amazing pictures so you will also get to walk away with awesome photos! The rest of the team, while quiet, are incredibly hard working and are determined to make you breakfast and lunch that is delicious and pretty. As for the hike itself, for me Rainbow Mountain was crowded and was alright, but Red Valley is where it is at. I absolutely adored Red Valley! Be sure to bring toilet paper and gloves! It gets very windy at the top and if you need to use the restrooms, having toilet paper can come in clutch. Thank you to Mijail and Team!

Great way to spend a sunday in peru - Rainbow Mountain&Red Valley with Filio was amazing! He is such a nice guy/guide. He cares for everyone and looks out. He gives tips on breathing and walks behind to check if everybody is okay. He teached us some Ketschua which was really fun. Everyone from the team was really nice and the cooks prepared a wonderful breakfast/lunch with an amazing view.
