• Plaza de Armas Cusco - The team will collect guests at 4:00 am from the Plaza de Armas in Cusco and from hotels situated in the city center. If accommodations are outside the designated pick-up zone, please reach out at least a day prior to arrange a suitable meeting point. Alternatively, guests can arrive at the Plaza de Armas at the scheduled time for collection.
• Cusipata - After gathering everyone from their hotels, the journey will proceed directly to the town of Cusipata, which is a 2-hour drive. In Cusipata, breakfast will be served at our restaurant at 6:00 am to fuel the continuation of the journey.
• Nevado Ausangate - Post-breakfast, the trip will continue for another 2 hours to the village of Kayrawiri Alto. During this drive, travelers will enjoy scenic views of rivers, adobe houses with thatched roofs, and numerous alpacas and llamas.

As the village of Kayrawiri approaches, a distant view of a vast snowy expanse will reveal the renowned Ausangate Mountain. Ausangate is recognized as the highest mountain in the Cusco region and was the most significant Apu (sacred mountain) during the Inca era, as well as today.

• Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca - Upon reaching the village of Kayrawiri, local villagers will be ready with their motorcycles to provide a 7-minute ride to the summit of Rainbow Mountain. At the summit, a 5-minute walk will lead to the main viewpoint. With the guide, guests will explore Rainbow Mountain, capturing beautiful photos and appreciating the breathtaking Peruvian Andes landscape.

An hour will be spent at the summit of Rainbow Mountain with the guide. Following this, a 5-minute walk will return guests to the motorcycles for a ride back to the village of Kayrawiri, where transport will be waiting. The return journey will follow the same route to the village of Cusipata for a buffet lunch.

• Cusipata - After exploring Rainbow Mountain’s landscapes, a 2-hour van ride will return guests to the village of Cusipata for a buffet lunch. Around midday, a hearty meal will be provided to replenish energy.
• Cusco Cathedral - Post-lunch, around 1:00 pm, the return to Cusco city will commence, concluding the service at the Plaza de Armas. The service will end at the Plaza de Armas in Cusco around 4:00 pm.
