Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain - We will pick you up from your hotel around 4:30 am and drive for 3.5 hours to the trailhead, on the way we will have breakfast in a local Village called Cusipata, a native community with few inhabitants dedicated mostly to agriculture. The hiking starts with a 1.5 hours hike up to Rainbow mountain, on the way we can see a lot of llamas, alpacas and we will be walking alongside a beautiful mountain range, the trails are gradual and very enjoyable.
Upon arrival at Rainbow Mountain, we will take time to enjoy the landscape, later we will hike for 30 more minutes to the Red Valley, another beautiful but rarely visited places that will take your breath away, after taking lots of pictures, we will slowly start descending again back to the trailhead where your chef will be waiting with a delicious lunch prepared using local organics products.
Rainbow Mountain is located over 5200 meters in the Southern Region of Peru. This stunning place will impress everyone because of the fantastic views of the mountains, the clear air that you can breathe away from the pollution, you will be able to interact with locals as they offer you a horse ride, after Enjoying a full day in the Remote mountains we will head back to Cusco arriving at approximately 5:00 pm.

Fabulous Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley Hike - This was the most memorable tour we did the whole trip. Filio and the rest of the team including the chefs Rolando and Monica worked hard to ensure the best experience possible for the day trip to rainbow mountain and red valley. They showed up promptly to pick us up from the hotel and even suggested we leave a bit earlier to beat most of the crowds which was perfectly fine with us. Once we got close the chefs quickly started preparing us breakfast which was very good. Filio was attentive the entire trek and also helped my friend on some of the steep parts going down which was a huge plus. When we returned back there was a super amazing lunch waiting for us already setup. It was shocking how well they were able to make the dishes considering where we were and everything was so good. I’d definitely recommend this tour and wouldn’t hesitate to go with them again on another one!

Well planned and thoughtful day - Trexperience and our guide Toro went above and beyond for this tour! We stopped for breakfast on the way to hike rainbow mountain and then also did a short walk through red valley. Toro has great energy and was an enjoyable guide and took lots of photos for us. When we returned for lunch there was a beautiful picnic set up. It was well thought out and the food was delicious. You can tell a lot of effort went into designing this day. Thank you Toro and your super chefs!
