- Vinicunca Mountain - After the pick-up of the lodgings, they are transported to the restaurant, breakfast place, then to the bus parking point and from there we start the walk, horses can be rented along the way, when you reach the highest point that is The viewpoint will have the view of the spectacular rainbow mountain and then we continue with the descent towards the bus and then go to the breakfast point but this time for lunch.
- Vinicunca Mountain - You can also visit the Red Valley, a destination that is very close to the rainbow mountain, this for an extra 15 dollars per passenger.

Our guide carries oxygen supplies to bolster any passengers struggling with altitude adjustment, and a first aid kit is readily available on the bus as well. The peak of our tour allows for a short 20-minute stop due to the elevated cold levels; however, it provides a perfect opportunity for taking memorable snapshots. Along the route, you will travel past alpacas and llamas native to the region, offering more photo moments. There will also be multiple roadside stalls selling refreshments and offering horse rentals for exploring the mountainous terrain.

Tuff climb but worth the experience - We had an amazing experience from getting us picked up at our hotel, and taking us all the way up to the beautiful rainbow mountain. They were professional, on-time, and charming, and you felt you were in good hands walking up that mountain. I definitely recommend this team.

Once in a lifetime - If you are visiting Cusco, this is a must!!! Very inexpensive, yet has so much value. The tour guide waited for us the entire way up the mountain, then he took great pictures.

It worths to go Rainbow Mountain. - It was a good trip. We rent horses to completed first part of Rainbow Mountain claiming and then claiming about half hour to the top of the mountain at high leverage 5030. We were happy to complted the trip. The tour guide helped us on renting horses.

Rainbow mountain tour - We arrived in Cusco and had full communication from the guide as soon as we arrived, provided us with a breakdown on what would happen during the tour/ what to expect and offered to meet with us to ensure we felt prepared and comfortable.

Cold but worth it - All in all a great time! Everything was on time and managed very well.
The pick up was at 4 am and after picking up several others headed to breakfast (about 1.5 hours away) at 6:30am.
We were at the mountain at approximately 7:30ish and were able to rent horses. The hike up is about 2 miles very small incline. The last 15-20 min is stairs up (take your time) as horses can’t go up this way.
The weather is very unpredictable and we were in a snow wonderland the whole time.
Thankfully we were still able to see the colors of the mountain but it was very very cold! Take warm layers.
We did not use the horses on the walk back as it was fairly easy hike down.
Afterwards, we stopped for a lunch buffet at the same breakfast stop.
Our guide (Americo) and driver (Clever) were awesome. Very patient and enthusiastic with the group.

Awesome! - Awesome experience, be prepared for the 17,000 foot elevation. Great guide and you can rent a horse to get you there if needed

Rainbow mountain tour - The rainbow mountain is stunning despite it was a bit challenging to hike at high altitude. Our tour guide, Carlos, was very considerate and helpful.

Lovely day out - Lovely day out albeit most of it was spent in the van travelling. Our guide was fluent in Spanish and English which helped massively. Didn’t realise how much of a tourist hot spot the actual Rainbow mountain was, but the views around it were arguably even better.

Must go - It was a good tour. Started from 4 am in the morning. Takes about 2 hrs to get to the breakfast buffet place. Breakfast place was alright. Then 1 hr more to the start of the trek. Trek is hard, do not underestimate the power of elevation. Take necessary medication if needed and coca leaf as it helps with respiration. Take horse if needed. Horses don’t go all the way up. Luckily we had the sun and saw the beautiful views at Rainbow Mountain. Great price recommend.
