- Cusipata - The first stop is in Cusipata for a 30-minute breakfast break.
From there, the journey continues for another hour and a half, passing through the village of Pitumarce, until reaching Hanchipata-Llama Chimpana, where the hike begins.
- Ausangate 7 Lagoons Peru - The trek starts at the base of the Ausangate mountain range, ascending the mountain for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Upon arrival at the highest point of Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), you will witness the stunning colors and the Ausangate snow-capped peak.
- Vinicunca Mountain - This is the highest point on the mountain, offering a chance to see various South American camelids (related to camels).
There is also an opportunity to visit the red hill, where you can enjoy the scenery and capture beautiful photos. Please note that the entrance fee to the red hill is not included in the ticket price.
- Cusipata - Stop in Cusipata for lunch.
- Cusco - Conclude the hike with a 1-hour descent to flat terrain, returning to the starting point of the walk.
Here, the driver will be ready to take you back to the District of Cusipata, where you can savor a delicious traditional lunch for 1 hour.
After lunch, the return journey to Cusco will commence, with an estimated arrival time of 3:30 p.m.
