Incredible, personalized tour! - If you are looking for an informative, personal and beautiful tour of Machu Picchu look no further! I organized a last minute trip to Peru and was not able to buy a Machu Picchu entry ticket online. It is possible to get them in person but the process is complicated. The Wonders of Peru team met us as soon as we got off the train in Aguas Calientes and walked us through the entire process step by step. Our guide Percy kept in touch with us regularly and informed us of the best circuit to take based on our preference. He was patient and kind as we took our 100s of photos of this breathtaking site, and we throughly enjoyed learning about the rich history of Machu Picchu and the Inca people. We had many questions and he could answer every single one - so knowledgeable! After the tour, he requested the Machu Picchu shuttle stop right outside our hotel. He recommended an amazing place for lunch in Aguas Calientes and even escorted us to the train station. This company exceeded our every expectation. Thanks to Percy and the team for a truly unforgettable experience!

Professional, Trustworthy and WOW! - Where to begin… so much positive feedback to share… Juan Carlos was our main person who was our private guide at Machu Picchu, and also accommodated everything we needed (with private services), to be well prepared and excited for Machu Picchu. He reserved private transportation from Cuzco airport to Ollantaytambo (where we took a train to Aguas Calientes), Peru (it was a 2 hour drive). Our driver was trustworthy, kind and informative on questions we had about the historical area. Our personal private van was exceptionally comfortable, clean with blankets and had beautiful big windows to enjoy the sceneries. Upon our arrival to Aguas Calientes, Juan Carlos had arranged for another kind gentleman to be in line for us already for our pre-tickets to Machu Picchu. This is important because tickets sell out fast! It started to rain while we were waiting in line, and the gentleman who was holding a spot for us in line went out of his way to bring us an umbrella. Juan Carlos was in constant communication with us even before heading to Peru from our homeland (USA), and answered all inquires we had at any time. Finally, at our tour within Machu Picchu, Juan Carlos is a master with the Inca history, please be sure to educate yourself before visiting the site to take advantage on asking him advanced questions on deeper subjects related to this marvelous ancient civilization. He also knows exactly where to take the best photos. He is a direct descendant of the Inca, and possesses a proud, honorable yet humble spirit, which makes one want to learn so much more about the Inca history! He is fluent in multiple languages, even Quechua! His English is excellent, his business customer service is trophy worthy. All his connections are trustworthy! We are grateful we randomly were able to connect with Juan Carlos. We will recommend him to all our friends who choose the Machu Picchu experience and we highly recommend him to anyone reading this. Wonders of Peru saved our trip - Wonders of Peru Expeditions made our trip to Machu Picchu incredible and stress-free. We booked our trip to Peru and then found the tickets to Machu Picchu were sold out. The team at WoP helped us through every step to navigate getting tickets from the Ministry of Culture. Not only did our guide meet us at our train, walk us to dinner - waited for us! and walked us to our hotel, but he explained what to expect and exactly where to be and when. We were able to get the time and circuit we wanted when the line was hundreds of people deep. Our tour guide for the day of was incredible - taking amazing photos for us, being very patient, going our speed, and giving so much information and history about Machu Picchu. When I wanted to spend more time with the llamas, he accommodated and even took photos! If you’re trying to decide whether or not to get a tour, you definitely should. When we were trying to choose one, we saw WoP reviews mentioned they went above and beyond and that is so true. I highly recommend them.

Machu Picchu with a fantastic guide - A totally fantastic experience. Machu Picchu should be experienced with the guide Percy, which is phenomenal. He took the time needed and is very knowledgeable and a skillful mediator, even to very knowledgeable and interested visitors. In addition, he is a pleasant person who has local knowledge. There can be no better combination.
