A brief stop is available for stretching and photography at the Marcahuasi viewpoint, weather permitting.
Mollepata - Enjoy a traditional Andean breakfast at a local restaurant, featuring bread, butter, jam, eggs, and coca mate or coffee.
There will be time to use restroom facilities and purchase snacks or water for the hike.
Balconpata - The bus journey continues on a well-maintained path to Balconpata, the starting point of the hike.
Upon arrival at the geodesic dome camp, guests will settle into their domes and have time to acclimate.
SORAYPAMPA - Upon reaching the lodge, a hot and nutritious lunch prepared by local chefs will be served.
After lunch, guests can enjoy a short rest in the geodesic domes to acclimate and recharge.
Humantay Lake - The hike to the stunning Humantay Lagoon begins.
The moderate climb offers spectacular views of the snowy Salkantay.
Guests have the option to rent a horse if desired.
There will be free time to explore, take photos, meditate, or simply connect with nature.
The group will then walk back to the camp.
SORAYPAMPA - The afternoon is free for rest, enjoying the scenery, or exploring the area.
A hot dinner will be served in the dome dining room, where guests can share their experiences of the day.
Optional activities include stargazing or a campfire.
Guests will spend the night in comfortable geodesic domes with panoramic views of the starry Andean sky.
Soraypampa – Salkantay Viewpoint – Cusco
SORAYPAMPA - Start the day with an energizing breakfast while enjoying mountain views, including Andean bread, butter, fruit, eggs, coffee, or coca mate.
Guests can prepare for an optional walk to the viewpoint.
Salkantay Trail - The hike to the Salkantay viewpoint (4,300 m above sea level) begins.
The round trip takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Along the way, travelers can admire the majestic glacier and high mountain landscapes.
This experience is perfect for those seeking a deeper connection with Apu Salkantay.
There will be opportunities to take photos, breathe fresh air, express gratitude to the Apu, and enjoy the serenity of the Andes.
SORAYPAMPA - Return to the lodge for a hot lunch to recharge before the journey back.
Cusco - After lunch, guests will board private transportation for the return trip, passing through Mollepata.
