Inca Bridge Q'eswachaka: A One-Day Excursion to the Last Traditional Inca Bridge
Cusco

The Q’eswachaka bridge stands as the final traditional Inca bridge. The small Q’eswachaka community crafts the bridge by weaving “ichu” (a type of Andean plant fiber) to form large strings that make up the structure of the bridge. Every year, they construct a fresh bridge using the identical techniques that the Incas used.
