Your day will commence bright and early with us collecting you from your living quarters. We will then embark on a 3-hour journey to the Mollepata village (2,900 masl / 9,515 ft) where a delectable breakfast awaits, fueling us for our trip to Soraypampa (3,850 masl / 12,631 ft). This is where we shall begin our trek to the lake.
As we ascend, the area’s varied fauna and flora will be around us for observation. We may even encounter some indigenous bird species of the region. Additionally, the impressive Andean landscape will be within view. Upon arrival, we’ll be treated to an enchanting panoramic vision of the sublime Humantay Lagoon (4,200 masl / 13 779 feet) and its azure waters.
Once we’ve taken in the scenery and recuperated a bit, we’ll navigate back down to Soraypampa. Here, our vehicle will be ready to escort us back to Mollepata, where we will enjoy lunch. Ultimately, our ride will bring us back to the city, dropping us off close to Cusco’s Main Square.
