Highlights
- Cusco - The tour starts picking you up from your hotel at 04:00 am approx, depending on your hotel location the pickup time will be quite different.

Mollepata - Once the group is ready the great adventure will start in the direction of the Humantay Lake. You travel by car for 2 hours approx in our tourist transport until arriving in the community of Mollepata. Here, you enjoy a delicious breakfast before continuing with the tour.
Continuing the Humantay Lake Tour, The car leaves the main road to take the dirt road for 1 hour more. During the trip, you can observe beautiful landscapes, canyons, cloud forest, and beautiful glaciers as The Salkantay Glacier (The second biggest glacier of Cusco region). -
Humantay Lake - Once you arrive at the final stop for the van, the group start hiking for 1.5 hours more approx. The time is an average and It depends on sure of your speed but no worries you will hike at your rhythm. The hike is a little bit more step than the Rainbow Mountain Tour, so try to have many stops in order to don’t get tired easily.
Upon reaching the incredible Humantay turquoise Lake, All the group will have the information from the Tour Guide and free time to explore more the place, an approximate 40 minutes will remain before to get back to the parking.
END OF THE TOUR
After 1 hour you get lunch in the same restaurant than in the morning. As the hike demands a lot of effort, the lunch is Buffet in order to recover all the energy lost in the hike.
Ending the Humantay Lake Tour, you return to Cusco city arriving at 5:00 pm approx., where our transport will take you to the city center or if it’s a Private Service to your respective hotel.

Mexican girl in the lake - Oscar is an excellent guide, very wise and knowledgeable, Has a beautiful energy and it was very nice to spend the day being guided by him.. I highly recommend it!

Amazing way to experience this sacred place - Our guides were so kind and the horses were well worth the Sol. The lake really is as beautiful as the pictures. The food was delicious! I really can not recommend our guide, Jenkins, enough. We are so glad we spent the day there.

The tour included all breakfast, lunch and transportation. - Excellent plan to do with family and/or friends, very good landscapes.
The guide Fredy Kruger was an excellent guide, he was always available and his explanations were really fantastic.

In love with Peru - I took two excursions, colored mountain and Humantay lagoon in which I had excellent service and above all an excellent guide Deyvis who was our guide during the two tours in which he was attentive to each one, as well as the historical knowledge that he has about the Very good places visited and good at answering questions that arose about the excursion. We had an excellent experience.

Excellent service - I visited the Humantay Lagoon, the experience with the travel agency was excellent, David was my tourist guide and made this experience memorable, he arrived on time to pick me up at the hotel, he always answered my questions and was very kind, he explained everything to me related to the place and he took some very good photos of me, the places where we ate offered a varied buffet, I will return to Peru and do more tours with this agency, the experience they offered me was incredible!

One of the best memories of our lives - Absolutely the best company to venture with in Peru. Alfredo and Wilson made an incredible team that ensured our experience was safe, comfortable and fun. Wilson is an incredible driver and navigated the mountains amazingly. Alfredo was simply incredible. He was so patient with our group hiking Humantay lake and is truly one of the best people in the world. I can’t recommend Kantu enough. Muchas gracias, Alfredo y Wilson!

A great tour to see the magnificent Laguna Humantay! - This was a great tour! From pickup to drop off, I have no complaints. Our driver, Fernando, was wonderful and took his time driving through the windy mountain roads. Freddy, our guide, took care of us the whole hike and made sure we were all doing ok, and showed us where to get the best photos. Just be warned: the hike itself is difficult at this altitude. If you’re at all unsure about it, they have horses to rent. Also, breakfast and lunch were great! I also loved the fact that they provided hiking poles free of charge. Highly recommend this tour!

Lake Humantay - This is an amazing hike, and Edi was the best tour guide! This hike will challenge you and empower you all at the same time. Take frequent breaks, even if you’re in amazing shape, the altitude is no joke! Highly recommend!!!
