A must do! - If you have a day to spare in Cusco, this is an amazing experience. The tour company were fantastic and the price is fantastic value for money; considering that your transport, breakfast and lunch are all sorted for you. Although the pick up time for this tour is early (4am), it’s 1,000% worth it! We were the first tour group to arrive that I could see and an hour later, the place was packed. The early start meant we could get great photos and just take in the scenery in peace. Our tour guide was Tupac and he was absolutely brilliant; a really personable guy, very knowledgable and very clearly passionate about his country. I embarked on this activity with my sister (who has had a knee replacement) and my niece (11), we used horses for the walk up (80S, around £16 and well worth it!) and then walk down. The day was lovely, views were breath taking and all in all, the day will be a cherished memory for years to come. I have used this company for the Rainbow Mountains excursion and am pleased to write that they are consistently great - being particularly sensitive to and well equipped for travellers suffering from altitude sickness. I cannot recommend this company enough. Thank you Inka Altitude! 😊

Great tour - The place was incredible! It was a great experience. For those who need assistance due to height issues, they offer a horse riding service. The guide was Broly, very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. Recommended.

Humantay Lagoon - A magical day! The walk is a bit difficult but the lagoon makes up for all the work. Thanks to Alejandra for coordinating, to our driver Jon for all his attention and to Tupac, our guide for being very attentive to us and making sure that we were as comfortable as possible making the trip. The service was 100% personalized at all times. The truck was extremely comfortable. Ask for Jon and Tupac if they are available! They are a dynamic duo😊

Hike of a Lifetime - My family and I had an amazing experience. This was my most challenging hiking experience but the views were totally worth it. Breakfast and lunch were delicious. My family and I would definitely recommend this tour.

Amazing experience - One of the most amazing places I have seen in my life. I recommend getting accustomed to the elevation of Cusco before attempting this hike. We were in Ollantaytambo and then went to Cusco prior to this hike and I still was quite winded going up. Once we got there though it was all worth it. The breakfast and lunch that were provided was quite delicious.

4-day multi-activity tour to Machu Picchu including mountain biking, river rafting and hiking through the jungle - We booked the tour "Cusco: 4-Day Multi-Activity Inca Hike to Machu Picchu". Overall it was a very exciting tour and our tour guide Edgar went through great lengths to give us a good time. Our tour consisted of mountain biking, river rafting, hiking, and a visit to Machu Picchu. The tour was very well organized, and even when one of us got sick, Edgar quickly organized a train ride for her, so she didn't need to hike on that day. The quality of the accomodations ranged from very simple homestay (only cold water in the shower, dirty floor etc.) to nice, very comfortable hotel rooms. Our guide Edgar was very punctual and spoke very good English. Being a shaman, he was able to tell us more about his spiritual way of life and also generally the Quechuan lifestyle. However, we expected a more up-to-date and more fact-based level of knowledge on e.g. Machu Picchu and basic history of the Incas.

Experience of a lifetime (Humantay and Machu Picchu) - 2 day tour of Laguna Humantay and Machu Picchu site. Truly a top tier experience in life that I cant recommend enough. For day 1 we had a group of 14 and our guide Amilcar (probably butchered the name) was fantastic in going to our hotel greeting us and picking up the rest of the group. After a drive to Humantay, it’s a little spooky to get there with the cliffs but the driver was great. Amilcar and our group did the hike and our guide was very encouraging the entire way and stayed behind to help those that were struggling. Then took pictures and had tremendous energy that was infectious/needed for such a long strenuous day. The 2nd portion of the trip was somehow even more incredible! We took a bus nearly back to Cusco and transferred over to our next guide Broly Sanchez! for a very personal individual experience to go escort us to Machu Picchu. This is a half day of traveling but getting to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town) and drinking some Pisco Sours with over a meal of Trucha and sharing stories with Broly had us glowing and ready for the day! Broly crushed it as a guide. Im not a fluent spanish speaker so when we arrived at Machu Picchu (which is truly beautiful but was amplified by the background/history) Broly asked if we wanted to switch to English and Im blown away of how good Broly’s story telling ability is in both languages and i cant recommend Broly enough in terms of being a fun educated guide that made us feel comfortable. Broly then took us all the way back to Cusco and we can confidently call our guides our friends.

Beautiful spot - The lagoon is beautiful and really worth visiting. The tour itself has a lot of driving and little time at the location. But I reckon it’s the only way of visiting the place. There is no much guidance needed. The hike can be challenging due to its steepness and altitude, but doable.

Great please Poor company - The place is amaizing but the tour company is not to trust I was trying to connect with them to confirm time and all the stuff, didn’t text/email/call me back! I was calling viator at 400 am the day of the tour to know if they would pick me up, they came after 30 min, It was only one guide for 19 people the van was overcrowded and they even drop us in some other plaza….
