  • Balcon del Diablo - On the backside of the Saqsayhuaman archaeological center is the Balcony of the Devil, an archaeological attraction and natural architectural heritage left by our ancestors. Today it is part of a beautiful park where you can go to enjoy hiking, camping, walks and excursions.

The Balcony of the Devil is known for being a large rock with a spectacular view of a chasm in the middle. There is a window, a balcony overlooking the river that runs underneath rock. Below the balcony, the river goes through a huge cave towards the other end of the rock. Some people dare cross through, making a chilling experience.

SKIP RAINBOW MOUNTAIN - If you enjoy riding at all, this day of scenic beauty and historic sights is for you! The horses are calm but responsive and you get to trot or canter a bit if you like amongst the green mountains of Peru

Horseback Riding Review - The horseback riding excursion was excellent. The driver, Freddy, was friendly and easy to find. Our horseback guide, Holger, was excellent too. He took us on a very fun ride through the mountains, which included walking, trotting and cantering on the horses. It also included some walking aspects which were very fun and interesting, led by Holger. The horses were also well mannered and a joy to ride.

Incredible experience! - My experience horseback riding with Holger to the Devil’s Balcony was incredible. It was easily one of the best things I have ever done. I got lucky because it ended up being just me and Holger and it felt like a private tour. Holger was wonderful - very friendly, informative, and helpful with photos. He shared a lot of interesting information about the region and the ride was so peaceful and fun. The horses were lovely and calm. The views are unreal, breathtaking. We stopped along the way for some meditation, snacks, and to visit an old Incan temple. I cannot recommend this experience enough. If you’re visiting the area, don’t hesitate to do this! I would definitely do it again if I get to visit again.
