Highlights
  • F2RH+GX Cusco - Prior experience with horses isn’t necessary, just a passion for these majestic and beautiful creatures.

Enchanting Encounter, Intimate groups (Maximum of 04 individuals, contact for larger parties).

We’ll collect you from your airbnb or hotel, and the initial phase is to acquaint yourself with our horses, bond with them, and grasp the fundamental commands to steer them on our journey, aiming for unity with your steed.

Our horseback adventure will lead you through the enigmatic and secluded spots of the city, such as Inkilltambo (which recent studies suggest may have been an oracle during the Inca era), The Temple of the Moon, or Temple of Fertility, sites that were either populated by the Incas or served as significant spiritual hubs, like the revered Huaca of Amaru Wasi, where ancient ceremonies were conducted in honor of mother earth.
We’ll delve into the Andean cosmology, the symbiosis between nature and humanity, and the tenets of Andean mutual exchange.

Please note that there will be brief strolls to acquaint you with the Huacas (Inca temples) and the aura of mystique they hold (as our horses are not permitted in these conservation areas).
Upon concluding our journey, I will escort you back to your lodging.

What's Included
  • Private transportation
  • Bottled water

Love for nature, horses, culture and Andean mysticism are the words that best describe this experience.

Our Tour will take place in part of the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park, with the main visit to the Inkilltambo Archaeological Center, and huacas or religious-ceremonial centers from the time of the Incas such as Chuspiyoq, Amaru Wasi (the house of the serpent ), and the Temple of the Moon. Part of the Inca Trail to Antisuyo will also be visited on the route.

Here I will show you many of the basic concepts of our culture, such as reciprocity, respect and syncretism with nature for which I will teach you the use of ritual elements of local use.

Riding in the Ruins - Had a great horseride, loved how Arnold described all the horses personalities prior to the ride so we could pick the appropriate steed. Also enjoyed Arnold's extensive knowledge about the Incas and their philosophy. Very enjoyable experience.

Calming horseback ride through history with knowledgeable guide and stunning views - The knowledge of Arnold about the history of the temples and his love of what he does shone through. He is also very good with horses and guiding to choose the best one for you. The temples are very interesting and the views of all of Cusco stunning. Super enjoyed this experience from start to finish.

Absolutely best experience ever! - If anyone is wondering if they should do this tour or not, let me make it simple. ABSOLUTELY YES. I walked away with the biggest smile, happy heart, and overall so much knowledge in both a historic and spiritual sense. I would do this over and over again just to experience what I did on my trip. This is a no brainer for anyone who wants an authentic guide and true spiritual experience. No matter your horse riding experience you’ll have a blast. And of course… the views are beautiful!!

Amazing ride, beautiful views - Amazing ride with Arnold and my horse Apachi. We had wonderful views over Cusco along with seeing 4 Inca sites for which Arnold explained their meaning and what they were used for. We even did a Pacha Mama ceremony which was really special. Thank you Arnoldfor sharing your culture and wonderful horses. I had a truly wonderful day.

The horse-riding philosopher - What a great session! Arnold obviously loves and looks after his horses, understanding each one's character and helping select the right one for each of us, suited to our experience and our level of adventure! He picked us up from our hotel, and took us to his ranch. What joy to be out of the hustle and bustle of Cusco. As he said to us, this is not just a horse ride. We visited four Inca sights, and his knowledge and enthusiasm about the history and culture knew no bounds. A true horseman and philosopher!

Breathtaking views and a wonderful experience! - This was the best tour we did when we were here in Cusco, our tour guide Arnold is so passionate about the work he does and was able to describe the horses and their personalities well. The views on this tour are wonderful and absolutely breathtaking, there is a good mix of riding and walking and we loved this tour. Highly recommend this for beginners, my husband had only ridden a horse once and was very comfortable with the tour. Arnold is so compassionate and also highly knowledgeable about Incan history and spirituality which makes this tour more than a tour, it’s an immersive experience.

If you've never ridden a horse, this is a great introduction! - The session starts with an introduction to all of the horses and a description of their behaviours and characteristics, then in "Choose your Pokémon!" style, you get to choose which horse you'll be riding. We then rode between the four temples, getting lots of interesting information on the Andean worldview. The most fun for me was galloping on the horse at the end, which was very exciting.
