Comisaria de Huambutio - • We will begin our excursion by collecting you from your hotel at around 8:00 a.m. and then proceed to the southern part of Cusco city, making our way to Rumicolca.
• Upon reaching the river’s entry point, our rafting guide will distribute all the essential gear (neoprene suits, life vests, helmets, oars, and splash jackets) needed for the whitewater rafting activity.
• The guide will conduct a detailed safety briefing, teaching you paddling techniques, how to stay secure in the raft, swimming postures, and more.
• Following the safety briefing, you’ll have around 10 minutes to practice the newly learned safety procedures.

We’ll start our journey by getting into the river current to experience the splendor of this spot while navigating through Class I, II, and III rapids. For those seeking an added thrill, personal river floats will be available, and a safety kayaker will always be present.
We are set to begin the expedition right before the Huatanay River merges with the Vilcanota River. From here, our transportation will collect us and transport us to our base camp. Here, we’ll change outfits and be provided with lunch, fruit, and hot beverages. Should you want to purchase additional refreshments such as sodas, beers, chocolates, cookies, doritos, and so on, we recommend bringing some money.
