Starting from your place of stay, we shuttle you over to our ranch in a swift 15-minute journey where you can soak up Cusco’s extraordinary scenery as well as observe our horses freely roaming and frolicking about our environs. Before we set off on our excursion, we ensure that you are paired with a horse that complements your riding skill level, followed by a brief safety briefing. Our first stop is the sacred moon temple - a place steeped in mystery and home to the rituals performed by the Incas in reverence of the moon. Following this, we head towards Chacan mountain. Also known as the ‘Devil’s Balcony’, this becomes a perfect backdrop to unwind, learn about our customs, and enjoy the panoramic views of Cusco city from its apex while savoring a light refreshment. The journey culminates back at the ranch where we part ways after thanking our equine companions for the memorable ride they’ve provided. Finally, a shuttle service whisks you back to your lodging.

Excellent few hours in the countryside with amazing views, beautiful horses, and an excellent guide, Gabriel. - The scene was breathtaking. The horses perfectly cared for, and Gabriel, as our guide gave us great information. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Don’t miss out on Gabriel’s Ranch - Don’t miss on on visiting Gabriel’s Ranch. We traveled with our family, including two daughters ages 7 and 11, and Gabriel and his team went above and beyond. Not only did we get to go horseback riding, we got to visit the Temple of the Moon, and ended the day with a visit to a local Alpaca Farm. Our entire family loved the experience and we will definitely be back!

Amazing experience with Gabriel - Gabriel was wonderful and went above and beyond for my friends and I! He spent about 4 hours driving us to see Cusco’s ancient Inca ruins and was very informative as well. Highly recommend his services 👍

I highly recommend - My girlfriend and I arrived at the ranch and were greeted by a beautiful herd of horses.
I have some riding experience and we were put in a mixed experienced group and everyone was satisfied. I was put on Wayra, who was a brilliant prize winning horse. All he wanted to do was gallop.
Gabriel took us on the Mystical Tour and you could see what a passion he had for his horses. They are well taken care of and Gabriel talks about them like as if they were part of his family.
A very worth while day out for anyone from novice to experienced.

Nice horses, great ride! - I took the "full service" tour with Gabriel this afternoon. The driver was there to pick me up right on time and drive me straight to Gabriel's ranch. After asking me about my riding experience, Gabriel then went and chose a suitable horse for me. The horses in great shape and Gabriel prides himself in the care he takes of them compared to some of the other companies. The ride was lovely, first a stop at the Temple of the Moon, then a lovely ride in the surrounding mountains, with a stop to get off, take photos, and eat the snack he provided. All in all, a very nice afternoon.

Highlight of our travels! - Wow! This tour went above and beyond what we had expected from a tourist horse ride tour. Gabriel was an amazing guide who treats his horses with kindness which you can absolutely tell during the tour. It was all very well organised, with a hotel pick up and drop off which made it extremely easy to do. Gabriel and his family have been looking after horses for over 100 years and is not like other tourist attractions but is genuine, kind and very humane to his animals. The tour itself consisted of walking on the horses to the Temple of the Moon as well as riding around the hills, a couple of times we trotted and galloped but was mostly walking. My boyfriend has only ridden a horse once and he felt incredibly comfortable and safe being in the company of Gabriel. Will definitely be recommending to our friends and family if they ever get to Cusco. This was the highlight of our month in South America!!
