Additional Information

For explorers keen on immersing themselves in a portion of Peru that continues to uphold its customary lifestyle and indigenous culture.

The Lares Trek serves as an impressive gateway to delve into Andean communities that preserve their vibrant traditional attire and Quechua vernacular. Men and women here primarily thrive on pastoralism (rearing llamas and alpacas) and cultivating local produce like potato, corn, and various cereals. These will form part of our diet throughout our route, produce that is entirely organically produced using time-honored farming tools and natural fertilizers.
