Amazing views and great guide! - This was an excellent tour. Whether you are short on time or just prefer to do a shorter part of the Inca trail this tour does not disappoint. Our guide Jhimmy was amazing. I have some knee issues and he was very patient and made several stops. He also was very knowlegeable. We passed several ruin sites along the way to Machu Picchu. Highly recommend!

Short Inca Trail in one day - The short-term organization of Edwin was very good. We were always able to reach him and also call with questions. We could also request special requests with. The tour guide jhimy was very nice always had the right info in stock. The speed was also well chosen. The prepared food. (We chose the vegetarian option) was very delicious and also a great portion. The transport there was excellently organized and the train journey on time. Unfortunately, there were a few discrepancies on the way back, which were quickly and satisfactorily resolved after a conversation with Edwin.

Amazing experience - Edy and Rosmel were our tour guides, and they were absolutely wonderful—knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely kind. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the tour, from the well-organized schedule to the delicious food and scenic trails. The hotel was comfortable as well. Thank you both for making this journey so memorable for us. We will never forget your warm hospitality!

Trip to Machu Picchu 2025 - Jhimmy was an excellent guide. He was exceptionally knowledgeable in Inca culture and history, and treated our family like his own. We can’t wait to go back to Peru and will definitely ask for Jhimmy to be our guide again. Machu Picchu was a trip of a lifetime thanks to Jhimmy. He speaks excellent English, Spanish and Quechua.

Don't pay $600 - I would like to start by thanking our guide, Rodrigo, for the tour. He was friendly and patient. However, I cannot recommend this tour due to its disorganization, which I believe is the fault of Viator and our tour operator, Edwin. Each person's tour cost was $600, and the management was terrible. We had tickets for the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu. Unfortunately, my partner wasn't feeling well and canceled, but our tour company said he could go directly to Machu Picchu. I agreed to complete the Inca Trail myself. After finishing, I found out that the Peruvian government changed the rule: if your ticket includes both the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu, you must finish the trail to access Machu Picchu, regardless of illness or injury. I had been asking our tour operator for details over the past weeks, yet he provided no information, claiming he was unaware, despite being in the tourism business in Peru. Viator never mentioned the strenuous over six-hours of hike or ticket policies. Although I insisted, the tour company eventually repurchased our tickets for $50 each, but the process was a nightmare. Aside from paying for the tickets, they offered no assistance. Rodrigo stayed with us throughout, seemingly unaware of these issues. As a result, our tour company didn’t cover one of our tickets. The hotel breakfast was unappealing, consisting of a dry sandwich, a banana, and yogurt. However, dinner the previous night was delicious, and the Inca Trail lunch was satisfactory. The hotel in Aguas Calientes was decent, though warmer than Cusco, lacking a fan or AC. With the windows open, the noise made it hard to sleep. Despite these setbacks, the first view of Machu Picchu at sunrise with my partner and the Inca Trail hike were unforgettable. Nonetheless, both Viator and the tour operator failed to meet expectations. Both Viator and tour operator were acted incompetent and greedy. You guys are charging $600 for one person where it is literally a $200 service. That is mobbing. And saying sorry or apologizing doesn't work.
