Winay Wayna - At 4:30 AM, the operator will pick guests up from their hotel and transport them to the train station in the quaint town of Ollantaytambo. From there, the journey continues by train to Km. 104, marking the start of the Inca Trail adventure. Travelers will be treated to stunning scenery along the way. The trek begins with a check at the control point, where all necessary permits and passports must be presented. The ascent follows picturesque trails adorned with beautiful orchids. The route includes a visit to Wiñayhuayna, meaning “Always Young,” which some experts believe was the residence of Machu Picchu’s ancient priests. Along the way, participants will enjoy breathtaking views, including the majestic Urubamba River and the high cloud forest. The journey continues for an hour to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku), where the first glimpse of the Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary can be seen.
Aguas Calientes - Following this, there will be a guided tour of Machu Picchu with circuit 1-B, allowing for the classic photo opportunity and a comprehensive tour of the Machu Picchu citadel. This visit will last between 90 minutes and two hours. Afterward, guests will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes, where they will have time for dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.
