Amazing tour! - We had an amazing time on the La Leona Waterfall + tubing trip. It was an unforgettable adventure from start to finish. We went with three 10 year old boys and they all loved it. Bernie’s communication and hospitality was top notch. The booking process was easy and Bernie answered all of our questions. Our guide, Pablo, was outstanding. He made sure everyone had fun and stayed safe. I would highly recommend this tour operator. We loved everything about our trip.

What an adventure! - It was such an amazing day! What an adventure! All of our guides were perfect. It was like going with a friend that knew what they were doing. It was perfectly catered to our needs. Even our 9 year old son on the spectrum loved it! Between trips we had the most amazing fruit, then off to the tubing. Again with safety guides and perfectly catered to us. Private was definitely the way to go for our family. For an all day private experience the price is incredible!! Highly recommended!

Do not hesitate to book - super fun experience! - SO MUCH FUN!! This is the best tour company. Locally opened and operated. The river tubing was first and grade 1-2 being that it was April...that would change based on the time of year. After the tubing, we went back to the office and enjoyed some fresh fruit. Then we were off to the hike. Ladies - wear board short/swim shorts!! You will be swimming in the river multiple times before getting to the falls. I ended up hiking in only a 2-piece swimsuit, which was not ideal...I would have been more comfortable in board shorts. There are some options to get to the falls..we chose the more adventurous, which included some minot rock climbing. I was a bit nervous (some of that had to do with being half naked), but the guides know what they doing. It was challenging but super fun. You will pull yourself by a rope through a canyon into the falls....what an experience!!! The water is clear, cool, and so pretty!!! Super fun day!! We stayed at the W and the transfer was about 2 hours.

Great day - Great guides. Informative, nice, helpful. Wonderful tour. They even put on goggles and found my sun glasses that I forgot were on my head when I jumped in the water. Highly recommend.

Inolvidable - Excellent tours with Berny, we enjoyed it a lot was a private tour and even took my dog and he was able to do the tour with us, it was an unforgettable experience.

A MUST DO EXPERIENCE!! - This waterfall hike and river tubing was the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. It was perfect for our adventure seeking boys (age 8 and 9). They loved tubing down the rapids as well as hiking up rocks, across rivers and into the cavern of La Leona waterfall. It was amazing to be able to actually swim right next to the waterfall, and learn about the area. Our guides were so knowledgeable, helpful and even took us for a few additional jumps into the river to make our boys extra happy! We can't say enough great things about what an amazing experience this was. Our family highly recommends this tour to anyone looking for something unique and adventurous to do.

GREAT Tour! - Had a GREAT time doing the hike to the falls and tubing down the Colorado river through the rapids. The staff were excellent, always felt safe and taken care of. Bernie and the staff were super friendly and made sure we had a great time. Highly recommend this tour, although the hike is quite strenuous, do would not recommend for people with physical difficulties. Had a BLAST…definitely the best tour of our trip!

Amazing. Best tour guide ever. - We were a group of 11, 2 families from California and Michigan. Our tour guide Pablo was the best guide we have ever had, for any tour ever! He was awesome with our kids who were ages 9-19. The hike was educational, fun, adventurous and super safe. It was always safety first. Pablo was super patient, and gave us options throughout the day for what fit us best, and he never rushed us. Bernie organized the tour and was so easy to communicate with, super responsive, and very detail oriented. The whole staff at Colorado adventure tours was friendly, respectful and had awesome attitudes, very joyful. We met at their main office in Rincon and went to the waterfall hike and then tubing. Bernie organized a Costa Rican meal at the end of our tour closeby and it was authentic Costa Rican food, delicious and it was a clean facility. We will definitely be recommending Colorado adventures to our friends and family. Ask for Pablo as a guide! Amazing day!
