Awesome GUIDE - Bernie and Ronny were the absolute best. We loved that we were in a group with just our family and not crowded in with a bunch of strangers. We will be back and wish our friends the best until we meet again! Great excursion!!!!

Mariano made our day!!! - Mariano was the absolute best tour guide!! We were traveling with my mom and he was incredibly patient and kind and helped her every step of the way. He stopped many times to show us great spots to jump into the river and was so fun! Bernie was also great getting us to and from the excursion and had treats waiting for us at the end! 10 stars!

Amazing Hiking Adventure - If you enjoy a hood hike & LOVE rivers then this is a must! I highly recommend Colorado Adventure Tours for this trip! I am a fitness professional from the US teaching yoga at Dreams Las Mareas for the week. We rented a car today after my yoga class to hike into La Leona Waterfall! Bernie's prompt communication for booking & directions to his little home office were perfect! Merdiana was our guide...you cannot go into this waterfall without one! He was AWESOME! He focused on safety and was also was fun & informative, teaching us about the trees, plants, rocks, & wild life along the trail! He allowed for many photo opportunities! We hiked along Rio Blanco (White River) crossing back & forth several times until we reached Rio Colorado (Colorado River). These rivers run off of Rincón de La Vieja Volcano. These rivers are full of minerals & when the sunlight hits just right Rio Colorado is a teal blue! We swam up Rio Colorado a short way in a deep canyon & had to use a rope to pull ourselves the rest of the way to the cave where La Leona Waterfall is hidden! Life jackets are provided for those that want them! There are ropes & ladders along the river & trail for additional safety! I will be back in November & I will use Colorado Adventure Tours for another great adventure...they have several to choose from! Pura Vida!

Great experience! - We had an exceptional tour with Pablo as our guide and Bernie as the agent setting this tour up. It was not a private tour but Pablo made you feel like you were the only one on the tour with him, he was very knowledgeable and he made the trip fantastic. Bernie's fruit at the end was the perfect end to the day!

Wow a must see - The hike was beautiful and the waterfall stunning. We were able to have a private tour. Our guide was excellent. The shop needs to have a bigger sign that is visible to the road. They were a small company and very professional friendly and great service. I would use them again

Excellent tour and guides - The tour was incredible. The guide's explanation was very interesting and fun, and they adapted 100% to the fact that we had to return at a specific time to the hostel and they supported us to make it possible.

Wonderful Experience! - Excellent experience! The team was friendly and patient with us. Beautiful views all the way through, refreshing swim and great photos by the waterfall. Our guide was awesome and very helpful (especially when needing assistance climbing). The transportation to and from was safe and reliable as well. Having fresh fruit at the end was a lovely way to end the excursion! Very affordable tour and transportation package! I would highly recommend wearing proper footwear as the rocks can get very slippery and you do walk through fast moving water. Overall I’d recommend this to people looking for an adventure and are comfortable with a bit of climbing!
