Additional Information

We are a group of local friends that wanted to give foreigners and tourists a unique ‘locals’ experience’, so we started this chicha tasting and walking tour on Sundays.

Our chicha tasting and walking tour begins at 11:00 am in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Bogotá. The neighborhood of La Candelaria represents both old Spanish and Colombian architecture. Here, you can find some of the oldest restaurants and homes in Colombia. After meeting at a café, we will walk to an enormous open air market, where you can find almost anything. After the market, we will walk down the oldest roads in Bogotá to taste chicha, a popular indigenous Colombian beverage. Following the chicha tasting, we will walk to a great lunch restaurant in the center of La Candelaria.

Normally, locals also come on our tours, so you will have the opportunity to connect with some Colombians and practice your Spanish!
