Excellent way to travel around Coniston Water - Used Coniston Launch to travel from Coniston to Brantwood, taking in a tour of the lake on the way. Boat was clean and well maintained and the crew friendly and informative, with commentary pointing out places of interest, but also leaving time to just enjoy the views. Tickets well priced and allow you to get on and off at various stops along the route.

Would recommend this trip - A great trip around Coniston Water, and the beauty of it is that you can hop on and off the boat, we got off at Sunnybank, had a nice lakeside walk back to Torver, got back on the boat to Brantwood got off the boat for tea and cakes at the cafe (thoroughly recommend) , then caught the boat back to Coniston launch. Our tickets meant we could get on a yellow route or a red route boat. Recommend booking on line to save a few quid on ticket price.

Swallows and Amazons Treat - Fantastic experience and close up of wild cat island was amazing particularly as paddle boarders came on shore at the secret harbour as we passed, quieter than other cruises in the Lake District but more enjoyable for it.

Pleasant hour on the Lake - Lovely 1 hour circular trip down Coniston Water sat out the back of the boat on a beautiful day. The two guys (I think Steve & Martin or possibly Matt?) were very helpful and gave some interesting facts as we passed various landmarks. Book online rather than pay on boat it saves a few quid. We booked 15 mins before sail time £35 for two adults. Possibly on the pricy side but we were happy enough.

Lovely day trip - We booked online tickets for the yellow route cruise as we wanted a boat ride and were interested in visiting Brantwood House, the home of John Ruskin. The boat was small in size, but this made for a better experience as it wasn't over crowded and felt more like a private cruise down the Lake. It was a beautiful day and was a very smooth boat ride with some commentary on the way giving some interesting information on the history of the lake. It took about 50 minutes to get to Brantwood house, and I would definitely recommend stopping off there, even if it's just for the views from the house and terrace cafe! We had a brilliant day trip and ended up getting one of the red route cruises back to Coniston Launch, which you're allowed to do with your yellow route cruise ticket, rather than having to wait for the next scheduled yellow route cruise departure.
