It was totally worth it. - The guide, I mean, his name was Coles, was very nice. We started the first tour in the morning and were alone. Yeah. The Crystal River is not entirely clear at the moment. That's nature, then. But we've seen more than just Manatees noses. In total about 20 manatees are determined. And some of them swam very close to the boat. And then the water was clear enough. It was just nice to watch these gentle animals.

Excellent Wildlife Cruise - We started by sailing along the waters of Kings Bay, which is surrounded by the greenery of the Crystal River Preserve State Park. We soon saw 2 bald eagles at the top of the trees. But the main attraction was to see the majestic Manatees. We saw a mother and calf swim right by the boat in about 4 ft of water. You could see them clearly and it is amazing to see how big they are. In addition to the manatees, we saw eagles, ospreys, pelicans, turtles and alligators. The captain and guide is very knowledgeable and toured different areas to ensure we saw wildlife and had an enjoyable boat cruise.

Fun Pontoon Tour - This was a fun pontoon trip. We saw gators, turtles, three manatees, fish, birds, an osprey bird’s nest with the mama and the baby and the mama covered the baby’s head with her wing when we got closer. It was so cool.! The houses are beautiful around the bay. Our guide was very informative about nature on and in the bay, especially the manatees. It was a good tour.

Beautiful Area - Great Tour - Our guide went out of his way to find manatees. Most have returned to the gulf by this time of the year but he was able to find some that stay in the area year round. Shared much information about the condition of the Crystal River springs and impacts of the past hurricanes. Hoping they are spared this year so the area can recover. Would highly recommend this tour.

Nice trip for elderly - traveled with my elderly father and friend. We were late bc we could not find parking at Pete’s pier (be warned). Our tour guide named Colt was nice enough to take us anyways, and even though our trip was cut short by the delay, he made sure we saw plenty of wildlife, including of all the eagle osprey, alligators, huge turtles, and of course, a few manatees. He noted that the 8:30 AM tour is the best time to go for a calm seas. A beautiful day out I would definitely do it again.
