Swimming with Manatees - Capt. Todd and Leah were absolutely awesome! We had a wonderful experience swimming with the manatees. We were lucky enough to see a couple of them up close, and it was truly unforgettable. Both Todd and Leah were fantastic with the kids—so patient, knowledgeable, and fun. They made the entire trip smooth and enjoyable for the whole family. Highly recommend!

Amazing Day - Leah and Captain Chris did an amazing job and finding manatees for us. It was an amazing experience. Leah helped us become official manatee scouts.

All around great experience! - Recently we brought two of our grandkids to swim with the manatees. Amanda & Chris were excellent. We took the early morning tour and were so glad we did. Even though it is offseason they were able to get us to a great spot and we were able to have a great experience. The photos and videos were wonderful too.

Fabulous from Start to Finish - Fantastic experience from start to finish. We arrived early, and as we were the only people on the tour, Leah got us started right away. Leah’s nickname is Giggles, and for a good reason. She kept us giggling the entire time. We arrived at the boat and met Captain Chris, who was also a delight. We came in June, which is not peak manatee season, but Leah and Captain Chris found us a beautiful sea cow almost immediately! Leah made sure we got to spend time with our marine buddy before continuing our cruise. Leah and Chris shared with us a lot of local history. They were both very personable and fun. I do also want to note they had a great value for the tour and photo combo! We hope to return in the winter and would absolutely book with Crystal River Manatee Adventures!

Will be back! - It was amazing! The views were amazing and the guides knew exactly what they were doing. We will definitely be coming back to them for any future tours!

Best Part of our Florida Vacation! - Leah (Giggles) and Capt. Chris gave us the most amazing experience swimming with the Manatees. From the moment we checked in to the time we left the whole experience was 5 stars. Leah and Capt Chris were so knowledgeable and informative about not only the wildlife but the whole area. They were up front and honest that manatees are not in season and would do their best to find some and give us the best experience. Well after only about 20 minutes we found a female in the channel. We got in and Leah (Giggles) was great navigating our group and getting some amazing pictures. The mom even took us to her calf. What an experience!! I can't speak for any of the other tours but I can't imagine getting a better more personal experience than the one our group did. Thank you Capt. Chris and Giggles!!!

THE ABSOLUTE BEST EXCURSION - What a fabulous adventure!! Couldn't recommend it more!! We absolutely loved our time with the Captain and Leah and the opportunity to see manatees in their own habitat. They did all they could to locate the manatees and make the excursion the most it could be, while still respecting the space and safety of the manatees. We attended this with our 8 year old granddaughter who, although not a confident swimmer, entered the water without hesitation, while I took a little more effort to find my comfort in the water. I was ready to back out, but the Captain (sorry I forgot his name) wouldn't let me quit that easily. With his efforts, and Leah's encouragement, I was able to enjoy viewing the manatees as well. Leah was a great teacher for newbie snorkelers, and patient, while ensuring everybody was being attended to and that the manatees were also being respected. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking this excursion, or any excursion, with this team. We felt safe and all thoroughly enjoyed our time with them. Our granddaughter said it was the highlight of her vacation - and better than our time in Disney World.

The team also took great photos and videos, which were available afterward, so we could just focus on being present. Whether you’re a local or a traveler passing through, this is a must-do experience. It’s peaceful, awe-inspiring, and a powerful reminder of how magical and fragile nature can be. I left feeling grateful, inspired, and ready to come back again. Highly recommend!

Highly Recommend ✨✨✨ - Loved this tour! I booked the tour for me and my daughters (We were looking for a getaway) and we had the most fun and fascinating experience! Leah was incredible!! Due to the high tide we were a tad limited in where we could go and see manatees but Leah did everything she could to make sure we saw them. We did and swam with them Oh my gosh it was amazing 🥰 She also took incredible pics and vids for us to cherish forever and ever! Very grateful for this experience! 10 stars definitely recommended!!
