Accompany the in-water guides on a brief drive to the docks, where ample parking is available. This manatee excursion takes place by boat on the spring-fed waters of Crystal River, ensuring sea-sickness is never a concern. Enjoy the manatee’s aquatic world either by snorkeling or as a boat passenger. It’s an enjoyable experience for the entire family. Upon returning to the docks, follow the guides back to American Pro Diving Center to return your gear, change into dry clothes, shop for souvenirs, and watch your trip on the big screen TV. As the journey begins, the Captain and In-Water Guide will provide all the necessary information for interacting with these gentle creatures. Participants will learn about manatee facts and behavior patterns, and our captains, who are highly knowledgeable about the Crystal River and Florida’s manatees, will be available to answer any questions.
The tours offer full wet suits, masks, snorkels, hot chocolate, coffee, and towels. All tours depart from private docks.
- Use of full 3mm wetsuits (for extra warmth), mask, fins and snorkel
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
