Highlights
- Plantation Adventure Center - The sunset cruise is our 1.50 (one hour and a half) to 1.75 (one hour and forty five minutes) tour of Kings Bay. We’ll cruise through the bay looking for wildlife while our USCG licensed captains will points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there’s always the chance of seeing manatees, but we can never guarantee. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every cruise is unique! You can bring drinks and/or snack aboard!

Additional Information
Embark on a stunning sunset expedition around Kings Bay for only $25.00 per individual. Our 40-seater tour boat has been vetted by the Coast Guard and the tours are scheduled every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Bookings can be made with a minimum of 4 people given prior notice. The sunset expedition departs approximately 1.25 hours prior the sunset (please call to verify timing). Private tour options are also accessible!

Sunset Cruise - Though it was a poor time of year to see manatees, we were able to see many seabirds and an eagle. The sunset was spectacular and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Enjoyable "sunset" cruise, even without the sun! - Saw all parts of Plantation Bay. The sun only peeked out for a minute when we just started out on the "sunset" cruise but it was still fun. Wind kept it a little cool, so make sure you take a wind breaker or jacket. Saw eagles and dolphins and got a very informative talk during the cruise from the captains about the ecolgy of the bay and the springs.

A great evening cruise - This tour was a great way to end our sight seeing day. The captains were knowledgeable, informative and also provided a few amusing stories about the sights. The sunset was great, as was the weather. All in all, this was a great cruise; one that I would highly recommend.

Awesome Tour - This is a GREAT tour! Both the captain and docent (a great team) were very knowledgeable and passionate about their part of the Crystal River. They interjected local history about property and unique parts of the river. AND we saw TWO manatees. Bring a coat because it gets cooler that time of day.

Very nice tour - Very nice cruise. Our guide was very good, funny and informative. Unfortunately sun turned to clouds so could not see many manatees but no control over that. I would Difinitely do it again and the price was very reasonable. I should throw in that this time of year, the noseeums and mosquitoes will eat you alive at that time of night so come prepared. 😂

Don’t go without bug spray! - The no see-ums. It would be very nice for you as a company to forewarn future customers of the insect problem. Perhaps even provide some bug spray prior to departure. It was awful. All the kids were scratching; we could barely hear the guide because the bugs occupied attention.
