Family fun in the sun day - We had a family group with ages from 6-66. Michelle and Jay were our guides and they did a great job teaching us kayaking skills as well as snorkeling safety. We really appreciated their commitment to teaching respect for the beautiful reefs. Both our guides really cared about the environment and making sure visitors knew how to not damage the coral. I have snorkeled many time but no one ever taught me the “sushi roll” before. We saw so many beautiful creatures; urchins, spiny lobster, octopi, cuttlefish, brittle starfish and we were lucky enough to see turtles too. Our youngest members were very tired but toughed it out to finish kayaking back. Thanks to both our guides for their kindness and patience dealing with a bunch of Midwest land lovers.

Highly recommend! - We had a great adventure with our guide Kai on Sunday, May 4. We had an ideal weather day for our excursion. Kai equipped us with the necessary gear (life jackets, snorkel masks and fins, paddles and kayak. We followed him from Cruz Bay to Scots Beach where we snorkled and saw lots of sea turtles, stingrays and schools of fish. The experience was well worth the price. Kai was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable about St. John, pointing out various landmarks along the way. We couldn’t have asked for better. He took lots of pictures of us as we kayaked so we would have them as keepsakes. Everybody should be aware that the kayak trip was not easy. The 4,of us are very active, and found the current on the way out was pretty strong, so we worked hard. It was probably 30 minutes of paddling from start to finish on the way out. Coming back was a little easier going. But the effort is worth it because the final destination is a beautiful secluded beach that we had all to ourselves. And the snorkeling was great! Many thanks to Kai!!

Great day of Snorkeling and Paddling - Wonderful experience. It took about 30 minutes to paddle out to the beach where we went snorkeling. The beach had very few people so snorkeling was peaceful. Got to see sea turtles and lots of fish near the reef area. Guides were very friendly. The operator gave us clear instructions about parking in the downtown Cruz Bay Area which was helpful.

Great morning excursion! - We kayaked out for about 30 minutes to Caneel Bay, which was easy in calm waters. Snorkeling was great — saw turtles, a stingray, some parrotfish, pufferfish, sea urchins, and a wide variety of other fish. Then, kayaked back. A little over three hours all in. Would recommend to anyone with kids over 10’ish. Our guide, Scott, shared some good stories about the surrounding islands and was a great guy. Would do this one again if we come back.

Terrible - Had kayak trip booked for afternoon. Tour guide at Arawak asked us to reschedule for next morning which we did even though we planned our day around it. The next morning we are waiting outside the tour guides building and he calls me to reschedule again which we declined to do. Told me he would refund my money which he didn't. Had to go through my bank to have it resolved. Stay away from Arawak in St Johns USVI.

Our guide was late,... - Our guide was late, couldn’t find keys to office, at the beach he helped us all get in our kayak, then as he was getting on to his kayak he fell This guy was so stoned. The participants all looked at each other, and wondered if we should report him. So after thinking about it for a couple months now I’m going to send this in
