Loved it! - Great views of the little penguins. Our tourguide was very caring and explained a lot about the animals. Even though P. I. was very touristic and I worried a little about the penguins being distracted, as so many people took photos after dark although it was strictly prohibited. French Island was pure nature. We saw many koalas in their natural environment and had nice lunch on a farm. HIghly recommended tour!

Great opportunity to see wildlife - I enjoyed my tour to French Island and Phillip Island very much. Toby did an excellent job. French Island is a very special place. It was so nice to see koalas in the wild and enjoy a home-cooked dinner. We had a short time in Cowes to browse the shops and have an ice cream. Then we were off to the Nobbies. I wish we had more time there to see the Visitor Centre. But it was a treat to see the penguin chicks in their nest boxes. I paid extra for the penguins plus viewing platform, which was worth it to have a closer look at the birds as they returned to their nests. Though the best views could be had from the boardwalk along their path. We returned to Melbourne quite late, but the long day was worth it.

A special experience - A truly special and memorable day - especially seeing koalas and echidnas in the wild on French island, then the super cute penguin parade on Phillip. Brooke was a first class guide, with great organisation and enthusiasm.

Small group, well organized and unforgettable - Wonderful day trip with helpful guide Margaret, and Scott in French Island. Although this trip is not very popular plan, we do feel that the arrangement met our expectations. • WHAT WE LIKE very cute purple bus, afternoon meal in French Island villa, wild koalas hidden in the trees, waddling penguins, songs on the bus back to Melbourne! • IMPERFECT More minutes in nobbies. • TIPS You really need to bring a winter coat.

Had a fantastic day! - Had a amazing day with the family. Brooke was our tour guide and she was fantastic. Fun, friendly, energetic and full of info about all the places we stopped and past through. We had scotty as our guide for French Island and he was brilliant friendly and very knowledgeable of the island. Had lee take us in for lunch on the island and showed us aorund his place and got to meet some of his animals as well, given loads of information about the island and how the community live there, enjoyed it loads. The food was lovely too. The penguin parade was amazing got to see so many of them up close and was great to see how much all staff involved in it really care about them. Would highly recommend this company. Brooke was great for the chat as well in the spare time on the bus. One the best tours we have done in Australia will definitely be recommending.

A very amazing experience and very homie and elite - It was a nice trip, I feel at home, we were in real life if someone was on a fresh island, they give us a fold in their own house and I see that very very cute and rich in culture. Both gides were amazing

Not really a tour... - The penguins get 5 stars, the rest of this "tour" do not. Perhaps our "tour guide" is to blame, but this was not much of a tour. It was a large bus shuttling a large group between points with little or no instructions or guiding. This was a 48 passenger bus and our guide barely spoke loud enough for the first three rows to hear. We spent a lot of time in the bus which had no information of any kind while traveling. Example: we were driving through some kind of nature park with wallabys everywhere. It would have been great if our guide got on the PA and shared info about them, described the difference between them and kangaroos, or said anything. Ours did not. Example #2: the tour ends around midnight. Our "guide" gave no instructions as the bus was making drop offs. So much so that we arrived at the final stop and a large group of people were still sitting on the bus completely unaware we had reached the final stop. We all just sat there staring at our guide who was not saying anything. French Island was okay, but felt like we were just killing time until the penguins. To be perfectly honest, our family would have been much happier with buying tickets to the penguins directly and finding our own way there.
