Excellent from start to finish - ask for Lucy if you want an English speaking guide - Lucy was THE BEST English-speaking guide! We really enjoyed our time with Lucy who shared her knowledge, good humour and personal anecdotes throughout our morning together. We came away from the tour feeling like we had learned a lot but had also spent the morning with a new friend - she also took some great photos for us!

A Good but Not Great Experience - Lucy was our tour guide. She was waiting for us, when we arrived right on time. Her English was a bit difficult to understand, but once we got used to her way of speaking and we were outdoors, it was much better. She took us to all of the important areas of the Alcazar. WORD to the wise: the internal spiral staircases are not for anyone with ANY sort of mobility issues; the stairs are not evenly high so you have to take it slow; they are very steep up & down, and a lot of rude people try to push past you as you are hanging on for dear life while descending. I understand that each tour guide will have their own historical perspective, but there was almost no mention of the Alcazar originally being Moorish.
