Good tour of key sights in Cordoba - This was a good quality tour with an excellent guide. We saw the key sights - although you don’t “skip the queue” at the Cathedral. A slight issue is that you have to wait at each sight as new people join the tour - so a bit of hanging about.

Disappointing - Although the sites are worth seeing, especially the Alcázar gardens and the Mosque Cathedral, this small group tour was poorly organized and one of the guide’s English was not up to the task. We arrived at 10:30 but the entrance tickets for the Alcázar were at 11:00, so we had to wait. At this time there were 7 of us in the group. Once we got in, the guide, whose English was very hard to understand, spent too much time in the first few rooms, then rushed us through the gardens because she had a deadline to pick up 4 more people before we entered the Jewish Quarter. Then before entering the Mosque-Cathedral we had to wait while they added 4 more to the group, then wait for new guide (who was excellent) to arrive. So the 4 hour tour included 1 hour of waiting to access sites or integrate new tourists. I would recommend the itinerary but not this company.

The tour guide makes all the difference. - Unfortunately our tour guide for Alcázar and the Jewish quarter struggled to give the tour in English and consequently we did not get many details and historical info for these sites. Our second guide, who took us through the Mosque, spoke excellent English and this made this part of the tour informative and interesting.

Inconsistency across guides - Our tour was split across 2 guides - our second guide for the Cathedral-Mosque was superb. Very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and kept a reasonable pace. Our first guide was very different - there was a mix-up with our entry ticket time (not a big deal) but we just stood in the sun until we could enter. This mix-up also seemed to really frazzle our guide for the rest of the tour. She had interesting anecdotes but failed to pull everything together into one comprehensive story - it seemed like just random stories as we came upon things. Her facts seemed dubious at times (12 windows in the synagogue to represent the 12 tribes but there were 15 windows …) and her pronunciation made it very difficult to understand and follow (this wasn’t a Spanish accent - she would substitute consonants in words so you really had to pay attention, eg “Snape” to say snake) and often times simply didn’t know the English word (note this was sold as an English guided tour). Time management also seemed to be an issue - after the Alcazar some people asked to use the washroom and she was hesitant to let them go (but ultimately did) and then tried to rush them along. Once the group had reassembled, she rushed ahead without really waiting for everyone and was difficult to keep up. There was no other opportunity for a bathroom break or water break built in to the three hour tour - which makes me think if we hadn’t asked there would have been no break at all. Needs improvement.

Amazing location but better off without the tour - Overall the experience was of the location was worth the effort but the tour guides were unprepared and failed to have their tickets in order which meant not being on time by an hour of additional waiting despite having reservations planned around our schedule so we missed out on a lot and our guide was in English but we she barely could translate properly and the skip the line concept did not matter unlike other tours
