We embark from our commencement point on a scenic country byway, advancing towards a bucolic family-operated enterprise dedicated to rural hospitality, where the embrace of nature greets us.
As we descend by foot, we find ourselves encompassed by a synergy of a food orchard mingling with the secondary woodland, serving as a portal to awaken our every sensation and forge a bond with the natural world as we exist in the now.
A mere 20 minutes into our journey, we are graced with the sight of an awe-inspiring waterfall, soaring to a height of 213 feet. The observation deck presents an idyllic spot for capturing photographic memories and video footage.
Positioned along the riverbank, there’s an opportunity to frolic in the crystalline waters, explore the natural swimming holes, glide down smoothly eroded rock chutes, and savor the coolness of secluded cliff spots, all set against the backdrop of the dense jungle and remarkable rock sculptures.
It is here, at this merging of water and wilderness, that we shall partake in a midday meal. A regional specialty, lovingly and safely prepared by the host family using locally-sourced, organic ingredients, inviting us to indulge in the culinary experience with peace of mind.
