If you like to snorkel, bring your snorkeling gear or you can rent it on the beach. Just a few steps into the sea and youu2019ll be submersed in amazing coral formations and outstanding snorkeling, keep your eye out for turtles and schools of squid.
You will receive transportation with a brief west island tour. Your driver will happily stop at the highlighted destinations for photos and sightseeing before the winding descent to West Bay. On arrival you will be greeted with a welcome rum punch. Sun loungers are also provided and lunch is available at the restaurant / bar for additional cost.

Magical day in roatan. - We did this tour through shore excursioneer. We went jet skiing at west bay Beach. Kembron was our guide and was PHENOMENAL. He made sure I was calm and comfortable and safe the whole time. While on the Jet skis it began to pour and he insured out gear was moved to stay dry. He spoke great English and explained the island and history of it with us. My son asked about snorkeling and he made it happen. I mentioned wanting to see the sloths and he took us there on our way home!! I would 10 out of 10 recommend him as a guide to anyone. And that's saying something! Thanks Kembron for a seriously magical day!

Great time - We always live going to Roatan. We've bee. There 9 times but this last time we booked and had Allan as our guide. He was the absolute best and we had so much fun with him. Besides being fun, he was very knowledgeable and we appreciated that. Can't wait till next and we will definitely request Allan again for sure.

Excellent Excursion. - Our tour guide Alan was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had on our ride over to West Bay Beach. He gave us excellent information about the island and was very generous. West Bay Beach is absolutely gorgeous with a sandy beach and clear water. The only complaint I have about the beach is all of the venders, stay in the water if you don't want to be heckled!

This was a great round trip... - <p>This was a great round trip transportation. Camberon our driver was very informative about Mahogany Bay as he was born there. He answered all our questions and more on the hour trip to West Bay Beach from Roatan. He was even going to bring us to a local restaurant but we ran out of time. This trip was a great idea because we really could see how the locals lived. The only recommendation is to provide a map from the port to where we meet Mr. Henry's. It was confusing directions. Much better than a taxi.</p>

We needed help knowing where to go... - <p>We needed help knowing where to go and our driver Sherman took good care of us. He got out of the taxi and made sure we knew where to check in and how to get around. Things were a little crazy the day we went to the beach. Our driver was late, so Trent stepped in and drove us when we needed a ride back to the ship. He even took us somewhere to eat lunch. Our drivers were very good to us.</p>

Beautiful beach, with lots of potential for growth. - We enjoyed the beach very much. When we arrived the port we were not told beforehand that you must go up & over a hill (not ideal traveling with elderly parents), so we paid $2 per person for a driver to take us over the hill, where are excursion person was waiting. After we found our excursion person, she informed us our driver was running late. Driver arrived 35 minutes late & it took about 40 minutes to get to West Bay Beach due to extensive road construction on the island. The beach was amazing, however was very crowded & every 2 minutes a vendor approached you. We paid to use the club for a day, but there was a lady charging $1 to use the bathroom & our waiter never checked on us. When it was time to leave our driver was 30 minutes late again. A wandering man was watching us & insisted to drive us back to the port for $40. We were about to take his offer as we were worried about missing our boat. Thankfully our driver showed up. He apologized & said he had told our waiter to notify us of his delay (which we were not told). All in all, beach was nice but it was more stressful than enjoyable for me.

The ride to West Bay Beach was about... - <p>The ride to West Bay Beach was about an hour with a stop at the Rum Cake store. I have bad knees and sat behind the driver, they have a big box on the floor so you can't stretch your legs, so beware. The tour guide was very nice and informative. The water was beautiful with fish swimming about. But there was two things that we did not like. First the cost only includes the ride not the 10 per person entrance fee to the beach. I should have read it move carefully and they should state how much the entrance fee is. Second and the worst part was the merchants walking up and down the beach every two seconds saying No Thank You sometimes more than once! The didn't stop until there were police by us and then they just walked by. As soon as they police left it started all over again. It might be the most beautiful beach on Roatan but our party won't be back.</p>

Did not like the hotel or the beach... - <p>Did not like the hotel or the beach that the tour operator brought us to. We paid at the hotel for a day package which included lunch and we literally had raw cabbage shredded and some fries. The drinks were made with local water so I thought better to be safe. The pop soda was in large bottles in a dirty cooler. I asked if the Pepsi was cold - he said no but he would add ice - I said no thanks. We left early. Trent was our tour guide and he did a good job. Road to beach was just awful. Will not be going back to this Island or this beach. It was crowded and there were armed security guards keeping vendors away.</p>
