Great attractions and adventure, difficult to get to lunch restaurant. - Chanel was a great host, we were expecting a group in a van or bus, but it was just my couple in a small sedan. Chanel was very patient, informative and suggested other great adventures. The only factor that should be mentioned is that lunch Is about 40+steps up into a mountain. My wife was scared and out of breathe by the time we got into the restaurant. Very disappointed that this was not mentioned.

Interesting experience - Richard was wonderful. After making it through the gauntlet of hawkers outside of the port Richard was a breath of fresh air. The tour is a drive to several locations. Gave us a flare of what the island is like. We did not end up at the beach but it was raining. Just clarify if you want to go to the beach. I think Buccaneer Restaurant is closed

Chapin is a great tour guide! - Chapin is a great guy who will happily take you around the island to the most and least known places. He offers great price, great commodity, and great conversation as well. I know that if I go back to Roatan I will request him as my driver for the duration of my stay!

Lovely Island tour - We enjoyed our lovely tour guide, David. Upon starting our tour, he gave us the option of sticking with the tour we booked, which he said would be very short, or we could opt to go to the animal sanctuary and pay to get into a gated resort for lunch and beach time that we would pay for. We decided to do that even though we'd have to pay. When we got to the animals, it was lovely to hold them and learn about them. After we paid to get into the resort community, lunch was tasty and we had beach chairs set up for us. The beach was disappointing. It was a small area roped off, and there were a lot of people in a tight space. I was hoping or a large beach area, but at least we enjoyed getting into the water.

Not as advertised. - Long, uncomfortable rides is an old Toyota van that had wet seats and left all our group of 10 with wet pants. A trip to an animal sanctuary (monkeys and sloths) that charged an additional fee to enter. The chocolate factory and the rum tasting did not meet expectations. The hike up 75 steps to the "restaurant" wasn't as bad as the two hours we waited for lunch. then the rain started. The only bright spot was our guide/driver, Murphy.

Not what we paid for. - Sadly this excursion did not meet our expectations at all. The tour guide Allan was very courteous but met the struggles of constantly trying to fix his boss's poor planning. The chocolate "factory" was mostly a small chocolate store where they briefly speed through a rehearsed presentation and gave us pieces of chocolate. Rum tasting was slightly better but was not impressed either. For the beach they told us that the location on the reservation was not longer available because of Covid. The beach they wanted to take us had no chairs and it was ugly so they ended up taking us to a beach where we had to pay $250 to access in addition to what we had already paid. The final straw was the food, which even though it's included, we could only choose from select dishes available in the small restaurant, and after we placed the order more than half of the order couldn't be completed because they didn't have enough for our party. After another 10-15 mins of scrambling we were transferred to the next door restaurant to be served. At this point we were now late and had to rush our food to get to the port on time and not miss our cruise. All this put a damper on the experience and at the end we were not satisfied with it.
