Great experience. - Ziplining was a lot of fun. The guides were amazing from both safety and entertainment perspectives. The views were great as you zipped across the valley. The sloth and monkey visit was also a highlight. The sloth lived up to expectations and the monkey was hilarious. He would jump from person to person and tried to steal things from people’s open bags - just like a Niffler! It was a very short trip from the Royal Caribbean cruise terminal - so short, we probably could have walked. All in all a great experience and highly recommended.

Great experience with beautiful views - Staff/guides are great! We always felt safe. The views are beautiful! We did order pictures but since I didn't have any access to my email while on the cruise I couldn't access until after my trip. Unfortunetly the transfer link expired on the last day of the cruise. I'm currently working with KingKong to retrieve the pics. Fingers crossed!! Highly recommend this excursion!!

Great time! - We had an awesome time as a family of 4 on this adventure! We got to do the zip line adventure with over 10 zip lines, meet sloths, and more (all staff were great to interact with and very patient with my mom)! The driver, I believe named Louis, was excellent! He drove safety and was very knowledgeable about the island. Pick up and drop off right from our hotel.

Adventure and animals - Great communication from start to finish, met us just outside the gate and short walk to Zip lining and monkey and sloths…… visited run factory and chocolate factory offered other stops but we declined. He took pictures of us and answered all our questions about the area. We would use company again. Great day with Josel our tour guide!!

Great experience - Great value and no crowd! Just our family! - This was a GREAT experience. We walked right off the ship and easily found our guide, Reny. He took us all around Roatan, starting with the KingKong Zipline where Charlie and Wilson took amazing care of us. I am terrified of heights but went along with my family who had the BEST time ever! I felt secure and safe on each line with our guides. I am still terrified of heights. Then Reny took us to play with sloths and monkeys (they will take your pictures for an additional cost). After the animals, we took a private car to the West End where we saw how chocolate bars were made with yummy tasting. Next up? Some rum and rum cake tasting. Again, yummy! Reny was happy to stop and take our pictures around the island. I would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Extreme thumbs up for ziplining and animal encounter. - First of all, our guide, Remi was TOP NOTCH the entire day - we highly recommend him! Our family of 4 (13 y.o. son, 15 y.o. daugher) all loved the ziplining. Selected this tour for our stop from Norwegian Cruise Line. King Kong Extreme Zipline was strangely empty when we arrived, so Remi brought us to Jungle Top Ziplining which was phenominal, hanging upside down, etc. The animal encounter was GREAT fun, holding sloths, tucans, spider monkeys, parrots, etc. The chocolate shop was merely OK - not much of a "tour," mostly just a shopping stop. Rum tasting was a fun quick stop for the adults. Remi recommended and stopped for us to get a couple local beers and some juice/nectar drinks for the kids (the same type type that were used to lure the monkeys for photos!) Overall, great value and great family experience!

False advertisement - We had a great time ziplining and interacting with some of the animals however they are not King Kong Extreme Zipline. I realized something was wrong after noticing that none of the ziplines were extreme as advertised directly on the King Kong Extreme Zipline website (no ziplining on bikes/surfboards/ect). Not even provided with a helmet and gloves. But it was nice not having to share our experience with a bunch of other tourists, just our two tour guides who by the way were great. The main tour guide stopped at several different spots to take pictures of us. We did have to pay for the pictures however the photos came out looking quite professional. We got to visit a park which is basically a bunch of cages side by side with some animals. Wild animals but not in the wild. I enjoyed playing with the monkeys and enjoyed holding a sloth. The "park" was way too crowded considering its size. My main problem was the fact that they misled us thinking that they were offering the same excursion that's offered by Royal Caribbean (but was unfortunately sold-out). We would have lowered our expectations and would have therefore left them a 4-star review instead of 3 stars. (Reason for losing a star would have been because of the lack of safety equipment and the fact that there is need for some maintenance around the zipline course).

False Advertisement - My fiance and I signed up for the King Kong Zip-Line adventure tour but we were taken to Jungle Top instead. The BAD: Being misled made us upset as we don't like being taken advantage of (Like most people). So we walked a short distance from the cruise ship to the zip lines. We noticed that some of the stations seemed to need additional maintenance. Gloves/helmets were not provided for safety. There will be an additional cost for pictures taken while you zipline. We were then taken to the "park" which is an enclosure with several different animals (ranging from gerbils to 3 sloths). The animals seemed well fed and safe but I wouldn't call that a PARK. It was super small and had way too many people for you to fully enjoy the adventure. We were then given a tour of the island. It was just OK. We got to top at a rum factory (to taste their yummy rum cake and sample some rum). The GOOD: It was only the two of us so we received one on one attention from two amazing tours (Unsure of names but one called himself black superman). The zip line course itself was adequate enough for us to enjoy ziplining. Someone will take pictures of you as you zipline. The tour guide for the "zoo" was very friendly and helpful. We got to interact with two monkeys, the parrot, and hold a sloth. The tour of the island was private in a clean car. I would have rated this experience 4 stars if they had not misled me by taking me to a different park.

Worst experience. Tour guide will steal your money - I had the worst experience with Roatan Five starts. We were a group of 14 adults and 2 infants that took a tour with this company on November 28th 2024 durin a cruise. We paid $165 deposit with Visa to reserve the tour. Our tour guide was Simon. We did the king kong zipline tour and asked our tour guide to take us to West Bay Beach. Since going to the beach was not part of the original tour, we paid extra money to take us to the sunset beach club and I paid that in cash. At the beach club, our tour guide Simon requested that I pay him the remaining balance of the tour with cash. I paid him $830 (exact balance was $826.18) in cash. An hour before we return back to the ship, Simon told us he has a flat tire on the transport van and he had to fix. An hour past and he didn't show up, we had to call the company and they sent us another driver. We got back to ship safely. When I returned back to the US, I saw a credit card transaction charging me the remaining balance that I paid Simon in cash. I called the company right away and they denied that they took any cash. They asked Simon and he also denied. They said they will check CCTV camera at tne sunset beach club and if they find any evidence and they will give me a call back. I waited for 2 days and no contact. I tried to call but no response. It was evident that they blocked my number. I contacted my credit card company and submitted a dispute claim but they're asking for receipt for proof that I paid in cash. I never thought about asking for receipt from the company since most tours I've done during past cruises, I pay via credit card for reservation and I pay cash after the tour and I never had any issues before. I'm at a loss now. I usually don't put reviews but I had to for this company to warn other folks to be careful specially of the tour guide Simon.
