Punta Gorda dune buggy experience - This was the best experience we had during our visit to Roatan! The guide, Oscar, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. The communication between us and the tour company was excellent. We were picked up from our West End hotel and dropped off there as well. Our visit to Punta Gorda was the highlight of the excursion. The Garifuna people we encountered were all very welcoming and excited to teach us about their culture. We ate machuca, a traditional Garifuna dish, and had a couple of drinks at an over-the-water bar where the host and his wife took great care of us! We finished our visit watching the performance of Punta dancing and drums. It was such an exciting gathering of people having a great Sunday evening!! I highly recommend this experience for anyone wanting to get a glimpse of the Garifuna culture. Our guide was amazing and made us feel comfortable.

Adventures lover's ONLY - My wife and I visited the ATV guys with the intension to visit Punta Gorda and have the chance to learn a bit more about the traditions of that part of the island while getting a more adventurous ride than the hotel's van or a rental. Long story short, after meeting with the MOD Joel, being introduced to our guides and no more than 30 mins after we started our 4-5 hours buggy trip we got caught in the middle of a tropical storm in our way to the Garifuna village that didn't stop for one second until the end of that night! We were very lucky to have Jboo and Quinn as our guides, we definitely made it safe back to our hotel thanks to their expertise on the road but even more important, we got back to our room entirely soaked but very very happy to have had the change to share such a great experience with them two. They definitely turned around something that could be a terrible and scary buggy trip into one of the most memorable experiences of our whole trip. We are definitely going on another trip with them next time we visit Roatan, hopefully weather will be on our side this time!

An unforgettable experience - I appreciate the time and effort from this tour company to make sure we had a great time which we did!!!!! This was my first time on a Dune Buggy and our guides Ariel and Juan were patient, professional and so kind! We didn’t get to see the Garífuna dancers on the day we booked the tour because it was a holiday but Oscar, who picked us up from our hotel, quickly advocated on our behalf to get a makeup tour. Even though we didn’t get to see the dancers, Ariel took us to a local restaurant to enjoy pescado frito y plátanos….delicioso!!!!!!! Oscar was friendly and he didn’t feel like a tour guide, it felt like he was family. He took us to a local vendor to get ‘corn rice’ which is a Honduran pastry (snack) and Oscar’s favourite….which was so good!!!!! Our makeup tour was equally amazing and we got to experience a little of the Garífuna culture (including machuca, gifiti and a coconut pastry which I forgot the name). This was our first time on the island and we are so humbled by the kindness of the people and we learned so much from our conversations with the locals. Thank you Oscar, Ariel, Juan and Joel for making this experience so wonderful!!!
