Excellent Tour - We arrived at Maghony Bay on a Princess cruise ship. A couple days before we arrived, they sent an email showing the sign to look for to start our tour. We showed the cab driver what we were looking for, and he said he knew where to go. The cab ride was $2.00 per person. The cab ride was approximately 2 miles up the dirt rough road. Along the road there are several signs, but sure enough we found Ronnie. He apologized as Michael was scheduled for our tour, but he was sick. Ronnie's English was limited, but we could understand where he was suggesting we go. I have been to Roatán 7 years ago, but my niece has never been. We went all over the island stopping high up on the mountain with great views, and locals selling their wares at cheap prices. We stopped to see the chocolate and rum shops. Be sure and buy the chocolate and rum cakes are good. Several varieties of rum. The view out of the rum shop is great. We saw the monkeys, held the sloth, saw beautiful butterflies and our young lady that gave us the tour was very knowledgeable about the variety of butterflies. The monkeys were friendly and they are not in a contained area, but they never leave. They all have names. The sloth was easily held and so very soft. We ate lunch down in the tourist area on the West side at a place along the beach, snd the food was very good. Ronnie suggested the place (don't recall name). Ronnie wanted us to see the Craft Mall where they have beautiful McCaw's, but after 4 hours we opted to go back to the ship as we were hot and tired. It was a fun day with a great overview of the island. I highly recommend this tour as it offers great views, air conditioned car, and you can leisurely take your time at each stop. Be sure and wear good shoes as some of the terrain is very rocky. Ronnie did a very good job of proudly showing off his country.

Great job Michael - Michael was great, once we found him. You could have given us more info in advance. Like for example what time to meet him and what sign he would be holding. Only because of Michael’s tireless effort did we find him at all.

Perfect day in Roatan - We had an amazing day in Roatan in January. Waikoloa picked us up right outside the Port from our Norwegian cruise. We discussed on the time we wanted to be back to the ship by and he helped us decide on which beach to visit. We started with a visit to gumbalimba Park and helped us get setup there and was waiting for us when we were done our tour there. He then drove us to the beach and also discussed what time we wanted to leave. And again he was there waiting for us. During our drive he talked to us about the island and culture. He was very friendly and you can tell he enjoys his job. We highly recommend this company and will use it again if we return to Roatan.
