Xplore Roatan - Upon arrival, please have your ticket on hand. One of our guides will assist you by
having you fill out our liability waiver, then getting you a wristband and the proper equipment for your tour. We will then proceed to our safety briefing and a short demonstration of basic horse maneuvering.
We will then guide you down the trotted path through the century-old oak forest, down to the rocky hills, through natural mangrove trails, and end up at Tortuga Point, where you’ll have an opportunity to take snapshots of Roatan’s mangrove forest, lagoons, exotic wildlife, coral reefs, iron shores, and snowy white sand.
By far the nicest horseback trail on the island!

This activity entails a journey down the beaten pathway through a hundred-year-old oak woodland, onto rugged hillsides, and along natural mangrove routes. You’ll be riding through water, soaking your feet and finally reaching Tortuga Point. Here, you can capture images of Roatan’s mangrove forests, lagoons, unique wildlife, coral reefs, iron coastlines, and pristine white sands.

Beautiful Ride - Lots of Fun Extras! - Beautiful ride through the forest and along the beach! I especially appreciated my fun and safety conscious guides, Santos and Ronnie. Another added bonus was seeing the ducks and turtles in the pond at the property and the goats, sheep and Guinea hens. Thank you for giving me extra time to groom and feed the horses! I will be back with my husband and kids!

My first rodeo - The gentle nature of the horses and patience of the tour guides. This was my first time riding a horse and it was great. I would do it again. Thanks for the experience.

Absolutely amazing! - The guides were absolutely fantastic! They helped everyone all the way! Even when the horses were being a little stubborn and not wanting to move they were right there making sure we kept up with the group.

Ocean ride as advertised! - As offered! We rode in the ocean up to the horses bellies for about 10-15 minutes. The horses were very skinny.

Good experience! - It was an enjoyable experience. Riding through the jungle and then going into the ocean to ride for a short while. Horses weee easy to ride and guides were attentive and helpful.

Excellent Service, Sad Horses - Viator and the actual tour operators are amazing, I was very happy with the service, the response time with questions, and how easy it was to use. The tour operators themselves were also very good and really took care of everyone.
I would simply not recommend this excursion simply because the horses were very sickly and didn't look like they were treated well. The health state of the horses really took away from the experience.
