If you’re looking for authenticity, this is it! - It was our first trip to Dublin, and we wanted to do something a bit off the beaten path to acquaint ourselves with the city. We were so happy with the decision to book this tour as our first thing after arrival. even though it was just the two of us on a Gray winter day, he easily kept the attention of an 18-year-old young man and a 56-year-old woman. Anthony’s personal experience of living in the Liberties with his family gave us an inside look of the many layers of experience he and many locals have had. We learned about the resilience of the people under various forms of oppression throughout the centuries, we learned about many funny historical characters, and Anthony had a way of touching on his perspective on weighty political topics with both candor a good sense of humor. He is an artist by trade, and one can tell from the depth and creativity he brings to this tour. My son and I through our remaining days in Dublin, chose more often to go back up to the Liberties for more experiences of “the real Dubliners” rather than the heavily visited tourist areas. We particularly treasured going back to the grotto of Our Lady at Saint Catherine’s church for quiet moments of prayer and reflection. We highly recommend this tour! Thanks so much, Anthony!

Terrible - Our walk was scheduled for 2 pm on Monday 4th March. We arrived at the meeting point at 1.50pm and waited for 30 minutes in the pouring rain. During this time I walked up and down the street to see if there was anyone around who looked like a guide but there was no one there. We decided to leave as we were cold and wet. I did try to contact In Our Walking Shoes but I have got no response.
