John The Man is AWESOME - Highly recommend a walking tour with John The Man. It was an unforgettable journey. John is truly one of a kind. He’s a great poet, story teller, tour guide, comedian, photographer and more! This was my first time visiting Ireland and honestly this walking tour has been my favorite thing so far. If you have the opportunity to take this tour, DO IT. The adventures that will unfold will create lifelong memories.

Amazing experience ! - We had an incredible time with John ! We discovered a marvellous wild nature and we learnt so much about Irish history. John is the best guide we could possibly have. He is kind, funny and he cares about the people he meets. He loves his job, Ireland and above all people ! Great tour by John the Man - John the Man was an excellent guide, informative, humorous, caring, and delightful! Our mixed group of 6 women presented challenges to him but he made the trip easy and good for all. I thoroughly enjoyed the cemetery stop with its beautiful moss-covered stones. The hike was a gorgeous view of the sea but somewhat scary. John held my hand since I’m afraid of heights and made sure the other fearful person kept her eyes straight ahead while all the time he encouraged us to talk about unrelated topics. Others in the group scampered along with no trouble! John explained Eire 6 as being part of the signal to WWII aviators. Very interesting bit of history that is being saved. After the walk, he recommended a nearby restaurant with lunch of fish and chips. John the Man is a wonder and I highly recommend him!

Breathtaking views with the best tour guide we could have asked for! - We had the absolute pleasure of exploring the beautiful village and landscape splendor of Howth with a fantastic tour guide. Delayed review about exceptional guide and tour - Lovely experience with John on our first day in Dublin. First off as we arrived for the tour my son from Michigan landed after a serious delay. John quickly asked when we first met at the Howth meeting point if it would be okay to pick him up and include him. The tour was exceptional, John was enthusiastic and an entertaining guide. This review was delayed due to the death of my mom. But as I think back on his tour my family and I fondly remember his love of Ireland and our time with him.

John’s Howth Cliff Walk Tour was a Vacation Highlight! - Wow! Our family was lucky enough to get a walking tour with the John, and it proved to be a highlight of our trip. John was so very friendly, funny, considerate and knowledgeable about Howth and Irish history generally. John has the gift of gab, and is just generally a really nice guy too. We had much more fun than we expected to - laughed a LOT - and learned a lot about Celtic/Gaelic and local area history on our breathtaking walk. A Delightful Tour with a Knowledgeable and Engaging Guide - What a pleasant surprise of a tour. We just got off the DART in Howth and John just started a lovely chat with us. When we were wrapping up he told us he does tours and say he would do it for a pay what you think the value was. Of course I was skeptical inside but John was such a blast we said let’s give it a try. Boy am I glad we did. This was a fantastic walk and John was great mixture of entertainment and information. We got a lot of history of Howth and Ireland and also the little nuggets you don’t get just walking by yourself. Got us to a couple of fantastic points to take pictures that were a little off the path but totally worth it. I would highly recommend John and his tour to anyone going to Howth.

Howth Walking Tours with John...THE Man who CAN! - John The Man’s Howth Cliff Walk tour was amazing! Our group thoroughly enjoyed his narrative of the surroundings and he lent us along the way his personal and favorite poetry reciting. He even led us to a local pub part way through our journey for a bite to eat. I had booked this tour based on the reviews and I realized straight on why folks raved about it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our group's last day in Ireland so memorable.
