And now an Irish Coffee Masterclass too!\n\nWith Derek as your host your in great hands.\n\n Irish whiskey and traditional pubs of Ireland his passion it won’t be long until you’ll become an Irish coffee maestro!\n\nYou will be guided through each step while crafting your own Irish Coffee creation.\n\nAlong with this you will sample 2 x 20ml POWERS whiskey samples, the first whiskey used when this iconic drink was invented. The samples include the blended Gold Label and the Pot Still Three Swallows style. Your host will talk you through the history of the Irish coffee as well as the POWERS 232 Year history\n\nYour masterclass and tasting will take place in Irelands most iconic whiskey bar, the Palace Bar, Fleet Street in the private setting of the upstairs Whiskey Palace. Engage in this hands-on session with your guide in Irish Coffee making, and hone your skills under the vigilant supervision of your host, Derek, a true connoisseur of this local warm cocktail marvel.
This extensive workshop will empower you to become a self-proclaimed expert in Irish coffee. During this immersive experience, you’ll also be introduced to the very first Irish whiskey used in the original 1943 recipe, POWERS Gold Label, and our uniquely Irish style embodied in a pot still whiskey, POWERS three swallow.
In addition to the aforementioned, you’ll acquire the knowledge on how to sample whiskey like a connoisseur and gain insights into the origin of its fantastic flavors.

We learned a lot! - Patrick and Derek were great hosts. We made a delicious Irish coffee and learned how easy it is to create this drink. Afterwards we got a lot of information about whiskey and also a bit about Irland. The experience was definitely a lot better than our tour at the whiskey museum. We highly recommend it!

Fun, Educational, and delicious - So, I decided to do an Irish coffee class in Dublin, and what fun. The host Patrick was an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly host. The whiskey bar itself upstairs at the palace bar was a gorgeous example of a victorian bar. Patrick gave us the history of Irish coffee's origin and demystified the difficulty in it's making. There were lots of facts, fun, and give and take between our host and the participants. In the end, we had an incredibly delicious Irish coffee and a few more samples of whiskey too. I would definitely recommend.

Unique atmosphere, excellent venue, exceptional host, a must have in Dublin! - Patrick was an exceptional host and lecturer at the Dublin Guided Irish Coffee Masterclass with Whiskey Tasting, sharing fascinating insights into the history of Irish coffee, its simplest preparation methode, and of course, the nuances of whiskeys. The venue had a unique charm and fantastic atmosphere, and the entire event was much more intimate and engaging compared to the more commercialized mass-produced tours.

Irish Coffee & Whiskey Winning Combo - Lovely afternoon learning how to craft our own Irish coffee under the expert and entertaining tutelage of Patrick. Bonus whiskey tasting and a very helpful education in pot still and single malts - a Powers fan for life. Do yourself a favor and book this experience on your next Temple Bar visit.

Fabulous experience in Dublin - One of my favorite experiences in Dublin. The Palace Bar is lovely and so historic...in the same family for 200 years! We were taking upstairs to a smaller bar for an intimate, unique warm cocktail mixing class. Our master cocktail mixer was extremely knowledgeable and full of tidbits of information that taught us about whiskey-making history in Ireland. This we did on our first day when we arrived into Ireland and it really helped us slide right into the Irish vibe and made us feel welcomed. A great way to start your visit in Ireland.

Must do while visiting Dublin! - My friend and I had an absolute blast at the the Irish Coffee Masterclass & Whiskey Tasting. Derek was so fun, knowledgeable, and passionate about Irish whiskey. I am not much of a whiskey drinker but had so much fun learning about the history of Irish whiskey and trying some top notch spirits. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Dublin!

Energizing fun in a decadent environment - The class was fantastic and informative! We had a great time learning how to make a proper Irish coffee. The rich history of whiskey was fun to learn about as well. Highly recommend for a fun event with friends!
