The walk to the Upper Lake took about 20 minutes, leaving just enough time to snap a few photos before heading back to the bus. An extra 15-20 minutes would have made a world of difference, allowing for a more leisurely exploration.

Nevertheless, the Glendalough & Wicklow Mountains Tour was a memorable adventure, offering a glimpse into the natural and historical wonders of Ireland. For budget travelers like myself, it’s a fantastic way to experience the country’s scenic countryside without breaking the bank. Just be prepared for a whirlwind journey, and perhaps plan a return visit to savor the beauty of Glendalough at a more relaxed pace.
