An Ecuadorian dream tour - Our guide Ismael was an amazing guide. He was informative and shared many things along the trip. We speak spanish and english and he did well in both languages. Coming from flat land Florida the hike was not easy but it was well worth it. Our favorite part was the horse back ride in the Cotopaxi park and seeing the wild horses and foxes in the park. Being a photographer in this place is an endless source of inspiration.

Amazing experience in Quito and vicinity - We found Pato Avarado from Ecuador a Color Travel co. through a web search for tour guides in Quito and contacted several local guides regarding a full day (8 – 9 hours) private tour for two. Patol was quick to respond and seemed to have a better appreciation of what we were trying to achieve than the other companies, and the price was similar or better. Pato put together a full itinerary (which he communicated to us prior) including the Old Town, Basilica, and some street art and ended up at the Markets. Pato met us at our hotel in the Old Town of Quito for the tour, which was run at our own pace (I like to stop a lot for photos) and we completed the day in Cotopaxi National Park. Pato obviously provided a running commentary during the tour but also gave us an interesting insight into the recent history of Quito and Ecuador and life of Ecuadorian people throughout generation and, as well as providing tips on other things to see and places to eat in Quito. Highly recommended.

Great trip! - We had a great trip despite chilly, cloudy, and rainy weather. The horseback ride was great. The hike was very challenging but rewarding! Ismael was a great guide and very patient as I needed to stop frequently to catch my breath.

Cotopaxi express - My tour guide was Kathy, she is very knowledgeable about Ecuador history. And also very helpful. We went to the horse riding first, then hiking. Hiking was quite hard, due to altitude issue. Remember to prepare small snake, cause lunch is around 3pm. Overall, it’s a good and fast way to approach Cotopaxi.

The perfect dat trip from Quito - This was without a doubt the perfect one day must do trip from Quito. Our driver Manual and guide Marcial were increíble, patient and knowledgeable individuals. They were able to customize the tour to meet our needs, and were extremely patient and understanding when we had to take it slow due to the altitude. The views were breathtaking and we’re so glad we decided to book this tour. Marcial and Don Manuel, thank you so much once again!

Cotopaxi horse riding, Huking to base camp, feeding llamas and having lunch together - Patricio Alvarado (Pato) with Equador a color was a fantastic guide. I booked a solo tour, we had another join us from Ireland. It was a great adventure. We went horse back riding, hiked Cotopaxi base camp, had an authentic Ecuadorian lunch at a farm, photographed throughout the experience. We visited llamas and fed them, and Pato made sure we had everything we needed and tailored the day to our liking. We all made the Cotapaxi base camp~ enjoyed tea and hot chocolate to celebrate. We photographed a fox that was near us in the reserve. Truly unforgettable experience. Highly recommend ~ Pato speaks English and Spanish and is very informative and helpful too. Thanks for a wonderful experience
