A Journey to the Edge of the Earth

The day began with the sun casting its golden glow over the lush Costa Rican landscape, a perfect start for an adventure that promised to be as thrilling as catching the perfect wave. My wife and I, always on the lookout for new experiences, decided to take a break from the surfboards and explore the wonders of the Poas Volcano and the vibrant town of Sarchi.

As we drove through the winding roads leading to Poas Volcano National Park, the anticipation was palpable. The park is just an hour away from San Jose, making it an easy escape from the city hustle. Upon arrival, the sight of the massive crater took my breath away. Standing at the edge, I felt a sense of awe similar to the one I experience when riding a powerful wave.
