On the journey to Poás Volcano, there will be a stop at the Doka Coffee Plantation, where guests can enjoy a delightful breakfast and a guided tour of the plantation. Here, they will learn about both modern and traditional techniques used by experts to process the golden bean, producing some of Costa Rica’s finest coffee.
After the coffee tour, the journey continues to Poás Volcano. This majestic 2,708-meter (8,000 ft) active volcano offers not only a chance to marvel at its impressive crater and gas emissions but also an opportunity to learn about its phreatic and fumarolic activity, as well as the diverse ecosystems and lush vegetation within this stunning national park.
The tour will then proceed to La Paz Waterfalls. Upon arrival, guests will walk along a scenic path leading to various park attractions, including the aviary, the country’s largest butterfly observatory, the hummingbird gallery, the serpentarium, and exhibits featuring frogs, monkeys, and cats.
A delicious buffet-style lunch will be served in the heart of the rainforest. After lunch, there will be a walk to visit three magnificent natural waterfalls formed by the Rio La Paz. It is important to note that this walk takes place in the humid tropical forest area and includes steps in some sections of the paved path.

Travel Agency Nana-Highly recommended - I recently visited Costa Rica with my family and I can say that Viajes Nana/Nana Tours exceeded our expectations. Truly, it was very pleasurable to have visited such beautiful places, such as the Poas Volcano, Hacienda Doka, La Paz Waterfall, Arenal Volcano and the Baldi Hot Springs with the guides of this Agency, especially, with Mauritius, Marlon and Edgar. Like their owners, Porfirio, they are very knowledgeable, responsible and professional people, attentive to every detail and super helpful. The explanations on each tour were very complete and entertaining. We never felt that we were with a tour guide, but, rather, with a friend tico! We take very nice memories of our trip to Costa Rica! Convo Tour by hand dev Mauritius - Excellent experience at the hands of our guide Mauricio. Very grateful for all your explanations of the coffee process from collection to packaging. After passing through the Poas volcano, where we were able to see its crater perfectly, we were in the protected animal refuge and it was a spectacular experience surrounded by this magnificent fauna. Thank you Mauricio for all the photos you took of us and your energy and for all the local people you introduced us to. We put our Sloth Mauricio in your memory :)) PURA VIDA

A Great Day in Paradise! - I recently took this tour (11/12/21) and had a great day! Our tour guide, Donald, and his driver, Adrien, were wonderful and fully knowledgeable regarding the Daka coffee tour, the Poas volcano and La Paz Waterfall Garden. Make sure to wear a good pair of sneakers or hiking boots as there is quite a bit of walking, both along trails and up and down stairs. By the time we were done, we had walked almost 5 miles and the number of stairs was equal to about 42 stories! There was a gentleman who had a broken foot, and he was able to maneuver everywhere, so don't let those numbers deter you from taking this tour. I enjoyed the day immensely. It was a great day with a great guide and driver! Our tour bus was clean and in great condition. If you find yourself in Costa Rica and want to take a tour that has a little bit of the best things of this beautiful country and of the very friendly and accommodating people, you will have a wonderful experience on this tour!

Excellent Service and Attention - You really enjoy a well organized walk, where both the guide and the place visited provide excellent Service, tranquility to enjoy the time and learn.
We really enjoyed the services provided by Travel Nana. From the process of receiving advice, recommendations and booking to the ride itself.

Travel agency NANA tour, is a fraudster - Travel agency NANA tour, is a fraudster, lie, q told me arrives 5:50 am to Hotel to retire, waited since 5:30, and no one arrives or answers me call, then answers message says we were not in hotel and left the bus. But the hotel reception says no one's coming for us.
The Travel NANA tour agency is a scammer, lie, who told me he arrives at the Hotel at 5:50 am to retire, we waited since 5:30, and nobody arrives or answers my call, then he answers a message saying we were not in the hotel and the bus left. But The hotel reception says no one comes for us.
