• La Paz Waterfall Gardens - On this day, guests will depart from their hotel to the Poás de Alajuela area. There will be a stop for a brief explanation about the region’s prized coffee, where visitors can view the coffee bushes and capture a photograph of the Central Valley and the coffee plantation. The tour will continue through areas with fern, flower, and strawberry crops.

The journey will proceed to La Paz Waterfalls, with a stop to enjoy fresh strawberries. Upon arrival, guests will walk along a scenic trail leading to various park attractions, including the aviary, the country’s largest butterfly observatory, the hummingbird gallery, the serpentarium, and exhibitions of frogs, monkeys, and cats. A delightful buffet-style lunch will be served in the heart of the rainforest. After lunch, there will be a walk to visit three magnificent natural waterfalls formed by the La Paz River.

It is important to note that this walk takes place in the humid tropical forest area and includes steps in some sections of the route.
