• Bici Chocolate - The Bici Chocolate Tour offers an engaging experience at Finca La Paulina in San Isidro de Heredia, highlighting the complete journey from cocoa to chocolate. Guests are welcomed with an introduction to cocoa and its historical significance in Costa Rica. The tour continues with a visit to the farm, where visitors observe cocoa trees and learn about their growth and harvesting stages.

At the extraction station, participants assist in removing seeds from the pods and learn about the fermentation and drying processes. They then use a mill bike to grind cocoa into a paste, gaining insight into the manual effort involved in production.

A traditional cocoa beverage is prepared and sampled, with explanations of its importance in ancient cultures. At the following station, guests create their own chocolate bars, personalizing them with ingredients and learning about tempering methods.

The tour also features a chocolate tasting session to explore different flavors and textures.
